Raffia Table Skirting (natural) Party Accessory (1 count) (1/Pkg)

I've ordered this every spring for over five years for the purpose of hanging around the patio area of our pool. It's been perfect in looks and durability, until the next early spring when the birds pull out the strands for building their nests. I'm okay with that - glad to help 'em. So anyway I ordered my new spring raffia grass skirting for this summer and it turned out to be completely rotten. It looked fine but it came apart faster than I could get it hung. Seriously it was unusable. I have returned it and ordered an exact replacement. If the replacement performs better then I'll update accordingly. Crossing my fingers because it's been a good product in the past years, and I'd hate to have to find something different going forward.Update:The replacement arrived and it’s much better. There’s apparently an ongoing quality control problem though, so not deserving of five stars but four.

I ordered 2 of these table skirts and they were completely different in thickness, texture and color. Sure, they were both raffia, but one was much more sparse and the other was much more stiff. I think this is just the way with raffia skirts though because I bought 2 more from a local craft store and I found the same to be true there as well. So just a heads up that you may have better luck going to your local Hobby Lobby store and opening the packages to check for quality before buying than buying online and just getting what ya get. Just saying...

I read a lot of reviews on the table skirts & found most of state they fall apart, this is constructed really well & didn't fall apart. I was trying to find a hula skirt, instead of buying a skirt I used this & made my own, I was able to make it double layed to make it thicker which turned out awesome!

Ordered four of these separately and the first three were beautiful. Rated them 5 stars! Ordered one more and it was made with thin grasses and a lot shorter than the others.Refunded but I want one more of the same great quality of the other three.

I absolutely LOVED the look of this table skirt and purchased it hoping to be able to save it and use it many times. The kids had a hard time keeping their hands off of it and so some of the "grass" came off, but you can't tell it. I was able to put it back in it's original packaging for storage for further use.

Bought used and it was in great shape. Very well worth the money...thanks!

Nice look and great weight but it doesn't stay straight around the table, it droops if you just use the two strings that is attached. Make sure you get table clips or something similar to help it stay nice and snug.

Ordered two to use as a table skirt for a Hawaiian Tiki / Luau themed birthday party. Used Command hooks yo attach to table / tablecloth. Looked fabulous and was very impressed with quality. Saved to use for other parties.

This was EXTREMELY sparse. Perhaps you could fold it four times to achieve the coverage advertised in the supplier image. This product is pathetic and is fraudulent advertising. Surprisingly, some folks seem less disappointed... The "batch" that I received was definitely sub-standard and well below my expectations for a $3-5 purchase at the Dollar Store. I won't purchase anything from that supplier again - extremely dissatisfied but lesson learned :) ...

Might also be good for hula-hula night in the bedroom, or halloween costume... or bedroom.

I thought it was a bit longer but it was long enough for what I needed it for. Very quick delivery!
