This is really cute. I added to the basement just to have a pull chain socket.

Work great to restore the pull chain functionality, but they are hard to pull
I purchased these for my 100+ year old house. Some room have light switches; others just had a pull chain to turn lights off and on. As you can imagine, over time the pull chains broke off of all of the lights. Thankfully, all of them broke off with the light on, so I had no way to turn the light back off. These pull chain adapters gave me the ability turn the light off and on as usual. My only problem is that they are hard to pull - not nearly as smooth as the original pull chains. I'm always worried that the line will break again.

Easy to install
This was a huge help since the pull chain in my original one broke. Instead of having it removed (in which I may have needed an electrician) I just took.out the lightbulb and screwed this right in and done!

Love These!
I had pulled too hard on my closet lights one too many times! These came to my rescue - it solved the problem and there is light again without me having to turn power out to the entire house and get on a ladder and replace an enter light fixture because of the stupid strings! Thank you for a great product!
