Favorite kombucha starter
I've been making kombucha at home for a while now. The first scoby I ordered from this lasted a long time ( a year or so). I only had to replace it with this one because I was moving and it was hard for me to transport it at the time. I've had great results with each brew so far, and I haven't had any issues with quality. Great value for money and easy to take care of.

Great SCOBY!
Good SCOBYI have been making kombucha for 15 years and my original SCOBY recently started misbehaving for some reason, so I purchased another (more expensive) brand to start another batch. The SCOBY from that other brand never formed on top. It was almost like it was dissolving--it was super weird. I threw that batch out.I ordered this one, and now my kombucha is growing strong once again!

Fabulous starter culture
Received a very strong starter culture. It works brilliant and the instructions were easy to follow. I did a 2nd fermentation in the bottle with homemade passion fruit syrup and the taste is outstanding. Very nice culture, not too tangy either.

Poor quality.
Scoby quality was poor. It was all broken up when I received it. My kombucha also got moldy so had to throw the whole thing out.I make kombucha every summer and this has never happened before. I’m suspecting the scoby was bad quality.All containers were disinfected before use. New scoby from a different brand is much better. No issues
