Favorite kombucha starter

Fabulous starter culture
Received a very strong starter culture. It works brilliant and the instructions were easy to follow. I did a 2nd fermentation in the bottle with homemade passion fruit syrup and the taste is outstanding. Very nice culture, not too tangy either.

Poor quality.
Scoby quality was poor. It was all broken up when I received it. My kombucha also got moldy so had to throw the whole thing out. I make kombucha every summer and this has never happened before. I’m suspecting the scoby was bad quality. All containers were disinfected before use. New scoby from a different brand is much better. No issues
