Instructions to build a 150+ piece shape in 7 steps? Overcondensed a bit I'd say. Also joints don't hold position, so anything rarely stands, legs keep slipping apart. Same reason for difficulty building complex structures with multiple joints. This is a challenge for an adult even. Kid obsessed with dinosaurs and building stuff won't even touch it after first few failures.

My son is extremely happy with this set. The pieces are bigger than I was expecting but they're well made.

Clever idea. Well made. Too difficult for most six year olds and their grandparents. Simpler models and much larger instruction images would help.
