I really like this product. I have a very sensitive stomach and have struggled for years to find energy drink mixes that I could consume over the course of 5-7 hour events without my stomach being destroyed. This doesn't upset my stomach and for sure helps with performance. Best stuff I have used.

As a runner, I tried to work GU Roctane into the mix of products that I use for carb-boosting, energy, endurance and recovery. The Grape flavor is tasty and there is a proprietary Roctane amino blend as part of the boost. The Rx is two scoops and 21 oz. of water, consuming the product during the workout/exercise session. These yield 59 grams of carbohydrates that is no doubt, carefully planned by the manufacturer. For me, my limit before running is about 10-12 oz. of fluid and maybe half the carbs. Otherwise, I would not make it that far into the trek. This meant reducing the serving to one scoop, which also reduced the flavor.I think that GU Roctane is a good product that I will continue to utilize. It delivers what it promises, though I don't think I felt the full effect of consuming the recommended Rx. The two sticking points for me:-I like products that promote endurance AND recovery e.g. formerly Cytomax and Accelerade., as opposed to just the energy and hydration part.-GU Roctane is fairly expensive.

I switched from Accelerade to GU Energy Roctane mainly because I didn't like how Accelerade always left a residue on my water bottles that was hard to clean off. I also like the flavor of Energy Roctane.

Pretty good product. Seems to work for me.

This is becoming my favorite energy drink on long rides. Other drinks don't always sit well when I am doing long distance riding. This has a more subtle flavor. A little more expensive than some of the others. I would rather have an energy drink then the gels. I suggest trying different products to see what works best for you. I do like the grape flavor. Have not tried the other flavors yet.

Summit Tea has a nice flavor that is a good change from the usual fruity options. I found myself drinking more during my ride because it wasn’t very sweet. It was very much like a standard instant tea. If that’s your thing, this is a solid option to try out.I felt like this worked as well for me as a caffeinated Tailwind flavor.I didn’t have any stomach issues like I’ve seen mentioned before, usually attributed to the maltodextrin.I like that it has some more carbs and less sugar than other drinks, like Tailwind.I will be buying this flavor, and another one without caffeine when I need more.

Goes down way easier than other hydration powders (I've tried LMNT, Liquid IV, etc). Got me through a half ironman and going to be using it for more races in the future.
