Lotsa gems.
Lotsa gems in here. Best part is bringing back some forgotten composers, even a few unknowns.

Nice pieces with graduated difficulty
This book (and its related other volume with the yellow cover) is a nice way to ease your just-barely-music-reading students into the classics. It begins with very short, mostly alternating hands pieces and increases in difficulty up to early intermediate level. This book could be sufficient for 2 or 3 years to supplement a good methods book course.

A lovely selection
A lovely selection of easy pieces for the beginning to intermediate pianist. Anyone who has worked through Denes Agay's "The Joy of First-Year Piano" is ready for this one. This Book 2 does not start where Book 1 leaves off, but begins again at a very easy level and becomes more demanding in its later selections. If you want to have many easy pieces to use your practice, it makes sense to acquire both Book 1 and Book 2. This will give you many pieces by great composers, some of them originally easy to play, others arranged by Agay. The cover of this book is disgusting, featuring an active boy and a passive girl against a background of sickly pink. But you won't have to look at the cover much. The contents are delightful.
