They work as expected. Well finished. The carabiner is more than adequate. They came with a sealed cap, and the seal breaks the first time you unscrew the cap, so you know the bottle has never been used before.

All four of mine leak. I did not get a chance to test them until just after the return window expired. These are made from very cheap plastic, and it does not appear there was much effort put into sealing them. Two of my bottles leak from near the mouth piece with little pressure. Two leak from where it is heat sealed on the side, again with not much force. I used two in my pack, and even though nothing was placed on top of the bottle, they leaked through (about a quarter cup each in a four hour hike). After seeing the failure in the first two, i tested the others and found they had different problems. I will be sticking with Osprey, Camelback, etc. after this.

I bought 2 sets of 4 bottles, before I used them for hiking trip I tested them...3 had leaks. Filled the ones that didn't leak, put them in my backpack, only to find that one leaked in my pack, ugh. So, 4 out of 8 bottles I bought leaked, 50% success rate isn't too good. I had a Platypus collapsible bottle for 22 years that never leaked. Buyer beware. The only reason I didn't give 1 star, is Boston-Fortis refunded my money within days, the first 3 were refunded before I got back from the camping trip. Thank you for that, but...

Cheap construction, one leaked after only a couple uses and the caribeaners rip through the corner hole with moderate use.

These canteens are perfect. They are thick enough to withstand some weight if packed in with other items. They perform as expected. It is a great solution to buying water bottles everywhere you go. They are sealed when they arrive with a locking cap like a soda bottle. They lay completely flat when done which is a bonus compared to other water bottles. This makes for packing them home much more convenient. Easy to clean and reuse. The perfect solution for a Green Enthusiast. And the company knows how to provide excellent customer service. They are miles ahead of many other companies. Give this product a try.

I was excited for this concept in trail water storage. Fortunately, I tested these before I used them on the trail. Three out of the four leaked badly - as in 50% water loss overnight. Sorry Boston Fortis, I will not be re-ordering. Am returning these defective products. When you depend on a vessel to hold water on the trail AND you depend on staying dry, this defective product could have life threatening consequences.

Dependable & can be folded down to easily fit into any storage area. Great for camping, fishing or hunting & the clip makes it very convenient for those "no hands" situations.
