Polar Trailer 10539 LG 600 Hybrid, 71" x 33" x 33" Lawn and Garden H

The Polar LG600 Hybrid Trailer purchased through Amazon has a good cost vs. quality ratio. The assembly was pretty simple the directions mostly by pictures with little written instructions. The trailer has good height ground clearance however it needs a few more inch's for the dump feature. The trailer tub holds a reasonable payload for hauling and equally pushing by hand. The payload is clearly better than using a wheel barrow. The trailer maneuvers well connected to a tractor / mower or by hand, the dump feature fell short for me with stone and weed block fabric as when attempting to dump and pull forward it tore the weed block fabric causing a large mess. This is where a few more inch's in height for dumping would come into play. In fairness if strictly moving and dumping dirt and not using weed block fabric it would not be an issue however the tub will drag on the ground and eventually get tore up. With trial and error less issues experienced when unhitching the trailer and tipping the load over without using the dump feature just as one would using a wheel barrow. The trailer is designed without an axle and with two independent spindles. The handle that is provided is wide and of good angle and helps when maneuvering by hand. I did not use the separate leg or install it as of now. In the future I can see the benefit of adding a pneumatic caster wheel mounted underneath the tongue near the dump lever to prevent tipping and keeping the unit level and ditching the leg for easier maneuvering when used as a push cart. I plan to work this trailer hard for years to come and it looks like it can handle it.I spent a reasonable amount of time shopping for a trailer/ dump/ push cart and would purchase again and would recommend this product.

As others have said, when dumping, the cart hits the ground. This not only prevents the load from fully dumping, but also puts undo force on the plastic tub. I used it for 3 weeks to move dirt from the front yard to the back. Went with this cart because it had a higher load rating than comparable metal ones. But under the weight of the dirt, slamming into the ground, the edge of the cart takes a lot of force. This causes it to flex, cracking the tub.Think of a dump truck. Does it’s cart hit the ground when dumping? No, it empties a few feet above the ground. A simple redesign, raising the pivot point, would allow the cart to fully tilt, completely dumping it’s load and eliminating impact with the ground. This could probably even be done by just using larger diameter wheels, raising the axle/pivot.

I like the ease at which I was able to assemble this trailer. The instructions were very clear and precise. Once I began using this trailer, I noticed that the edge around the top of the tub was beginning to crack and separate and it appeared that the back of edge of the trailer was warped. An email to their Customer Support group resulted in an immediate response back and with their representative informing me that sometimes the process that is used in fabricating the tub sometimes the curing doesn't work just right. They immediately sent me a replacement and I was able to complete my project satisfactory with no further problems. Should the need arise for me to purchase any product made by this company, I would not hesitate.

I could not be happier with this (Polar) trailer/wheelbarrow. Although some buyers stated they had difficulty in assembling it, I had none (and I'm a grandmother!). I did have to drill 2 holes to attach the handle but it was not difficult. The trailer is extremely well built and will last for years. Mounting on the riding tractor is super easy, and converting it to a wheelbarrow takes little effort. Plus, you can easily eliminate the need for a tool to convert it from one use to the other. I had a similar one from another manufacturer that was comparatively priced and this one is FAR above in design and materials.

Received very quickly from Amazon, simple assembly, as far the Trailer....great Trailer! It will do what I need around the Yard (1 Acre Lot) as far as the transition from Trailer to Cart...that will require you to get the tools back out, so I doubt I will use it as a hand cart very much. An added bonus I hadn't noticed was the great maneuverability, it has some added joints that let you really manuaver it where you want to dump your load....I would reccommend this product but just be aware that transitioning from the trailer to hand cart is not a simple thing to do....granted it is not hard to do, but it is something that will require tools and a little time

I use this thing weekly behind my ATV for hauling then dumping branches, moving water buckets, and more. I take it over very uneven terrain with zero issues. It works perfectly and I'm very impressed by it.

Have hauled full loads of rocks and logs. Has held up great.

Great dump cart seems to be built very strong, you still have to be careful using with zero turn mower that you dont turn to sharp, but other then that the best dump cart I have owned. Ready to get a second one
