The best present
I'm a teacher so I'm always trying to buy educational gifts for my ADHD Gifted son. This is by far the best gift I have ever bought for him. It's a VR so he thinks it's for big kids (he's 8) and it is so cool! You can explore all over the world, learn about different countries, and do awesome projects! He loves this set and I have been recommending it to everyone!

Highly Recommend
This kit is amazing! First, it has a beautiful book where kids can not only read, but also watch AR videos and explore in VR. Then each section is followed by a hands on activity or experiment. My daughter loves learning about the world, and this kit makes it so fun and interactive. Even if your child is a struggling reader, the AR/VR videos have lots of information. Excellent value for the money with lots of content and many activities. You will need to collect a few household items in addition to the items in the kit for a couple activities, but many of them have everything you need already in the kit. I highly recommend this for a 5 to 10 year old.

Learning tool of the decade!
I wanted my son to learn some geography. We have found a lot of educational toys. I was under the impression that VR was more for teenagers strapping phones to their heads for gaming, so I'm a bit late to the VR scene. When the package arrived, I knew I would have to download a very large application on the phone. It takes about 1.5 hours. Don't even try it on an old phone like I did at first. It overheated and shut down. I wanted to make sure everything was set to work for when he opened it on Christmas day, and I was also excited to try it out for myself. Wholly cow... I just got back from Angkor Wat, Egypt, Morocco, and Singapore! This VR atlas is the best learning tool I have ever seen- in my life. I can't believe the attention to detail and all of the activities. The trips are mini virtual tours imbedded in the book. They are perfectly short and informative for a little mind to get just a taste. The amount of effort and time that must have gone into making something like this just blows my mind. I will tell everyone I know. It's really cool- out of this world.

Nice toy
I acatuly realy liked this. It’s cute and educational with fun little projects for each thing. The app although does take an extreme amount of space. We had to delete a few photos and apps. The videos are short and not interactive, but overall it’s a good gift and toy

Frustrating for adult and child
Pro: Exciting to look around the at different objects when the app works.Easy projects to reinforce learning.Great idea. Colors are brilliant.Con: Goggles clip held phone too tight--cracked the phone's screen. Must pull the goggle clip outward more than I should to seat phone in goggles.Sometimes the voice is jerky and difficult to understand.May be difficult to focus page when wearing goggles.Does not respond on all pages yet responds on others.Opinion: I wouldn't buy it again because the learning curve is not easy and it doesn't work well at times. And my phone now has a cracked screen.

Travel the world with Grandkids
My husband and I previously purchased the VR Bill Nye Science kit for our grandchildren and were extremely pleased with the hands-on-learning exercises so we decided to give the VR Atlas a try. We recently had to cancel a family vacation with our children and grandchildren due to the pandemic climate, so this purchase seemed like a good alternative in making us feel like we could still travel. The VR Atlas enabled us and our grandchildren explore exciting places around the world. As retired educators we believe it is so important to introduce children to different cultures and identify the important values within the differences. These age appropriate lessons and hands on activities beyond the classroom with VR Atlas are fun. Our oldest granddaughter was genuinely engaged and loved watching the pictures move and become 3D on the pages. She is very excited to get back to school to share what she is learning.
