Very Useful Door Alarms 👍🏼
These actually work very well. You have to take a little time to experiment with the 3 sensativity levels for your particular needs and location. I have one on the inside of a garage door. The middle setting is plenty sensative, I use it and the lowest sensativity, Ive not had to use the most sensative at all. Has chime and alarm modes. It's loud enough for me. Gets attention. When you turn it on it flashes (a red led light) and gives you about 12 seconds to hand it on a doorknob or where ever you nerd to place it. Very easy to use, not a lot of money. I bought more after I got my first one. I think they are handy, very slim and lightweight. If you took it with you on a trip it would slip into any bag and take up no room. This could also be handy to let you know if you have a toddler for example that knows how to open doors that you need to know about. Feel well made, and useful simple, ultra portable alert devices 👌🏽

It saved me on my second night in a hotel..
This little alarm doesn't cost much but its a GIANT in my book.. I went on vacation for 6 days to visit grandkids. On the second morning in the hotel, I stepped out of the shower and heard low whispery voices in the hall.. then my door knob turned and this wonderful alarm went off.. it screamed and I left it screaming while I looked out the peep hole.. I saw to men in hoodies running down the hall away from my door. I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS ALARM!. Sadly when I got home again it mistakenly got tossed in the washer.. after the cycle was done lifted the lid of the washer and my little alarm buddy gave a weak scream.. and died. Even after the spin cycle it was still trying!!! lol I'M ORDERING ANOTHER!! DON'T PASS THIS ALARM UP... seriously.. buy it! update: After leaving the alarm in a bowl of rice to dry it out.. and replacing the batteries with new ones.. The alarm has survived and works like new!

Sometimes, all you need is noise to deter would be thieves and this Door Handle Alarm does its job.
This is a simple security device, door handle alarm, that is really loud when it detects vibration/static electricity. It gives you options on how sensitive you want the device to be. You do have a choice between a simple chime sound and the actual alarm. It does take 3 AAA batteries. I looked for instruction on how to open it up to the battery compartment and nothing, anywhere, not even in the videos by the company or by those customers. There is three tiny screws on the side where the battery compartment is, and it is the lower screw that keeps the battery compartment secure. You have to remove it. You will need a tiny screwdriver like the ones used for glasses or computers. It is so tiny that you might lose it if you are not careful. Once removed, slide the door to the batteries down and then lift up. After turning on the device, you have a little time to hang the alarm on the inside of the door. Countdown starts when you hear one loud beep and then you will see flashing red light until it is armed. This device is so portable, you can use it when traveling too.

Goes off for no reason
Junk. If you're going to use this on a lever door handle, it's very hard to make it so it doesn't have any movement so it keeps going off. I. Did my best to put it on the door handle without movement, the alarm didn't go off, but it started beeping incessantly every time I tried to set up. Back it goes. Also, it should come with a screwdriver because unless you have eyeglass repair kit you won't have a small enough one.

Reliable Door Handle Alarm
This products works well but at times a little too sensitive. Trust me it does what it says , it’s LOUD ENOUGH. However sometimes a little too sensitive. At times when we simply walked by it and it went off. That is the only drawback so if you can handle a few false alarms it’s not bad. When you don’t have money and thousand of dollars for alarm this is a good. alternative for safety.

Great door handle alarm!
I bought this for a sliding glass patio door. I was concerned about how it would hang on the door handle but it fits well. It seems sturdy and it barely weighs anything so it's excellent for travel. The only negative for me is that the battery compartment uses a tiny screw to open and close (2nd photo). That's a AAA battery so you can see how small the screw is. I recommend to install the battery on the middle of a table with good lighting in case you drop the screw. It works reliably and is easy to use. The "chime" sound is super loud - it would wake up a deep sleeper - so I haven't tried the "alarm" sound. Vibrate mode has good sensitivity - not too much but if the door handle is touched even lightly, it goes off. I would definitely buy this alarm again. Great product!

GOOD
BELOW GOOD 💩💩 BELOW WHAT I EXPECTED - I bought 4 because the first one was good. I like them because they are simple and easy to use. I wish they would be more reliable. Light plastic makes the feel a little fragile. If they were US or European built they would cost much more. They are good and loud inside the door so it will let you know if someone grabbed the outside door handle or if a loud truck goes by. Sometimes a strong wind will set it off. It is effective outside noise 2-3 feel outside the door...some what effective. The outside noise is noticeable, but diminishes until you reach 15-25 feet. After 25 feet you can notice that something may be going on. Most effective in an apartment. OK for house with very close good neighbors. Not effective in isolated or homes more that 40 feet away from the street. Eventually, the first one, went progressively bad after the first 6 months. Must have had some latent wiring problem and going off at odd times. Then it started to go on and not stoping. I have it now next to the door in case I go on a long trip and I'll let it ring until the battery wears out...or it fixes it self. You know many of these Chinese "Made for America" things have unpredictable problems. I have the second one on the door that has worked fine for the last 6 months. I expect it may have problems in the future a year+ from now. I have two in "reserve", if I have more problems. I put the on the door now and then to ensure they are functioning and to put 3 or 4 on the door for long trips...and to go on as backup to the others.

Safety first
These are a godsend. I have a son with ASD, who had no risk awareness and will run out of the house when it’s at all possible. These allow you to know when the door is touched and are so sensitive. They’re loud and reliable. What a great product! Worth the price for safety!

Drains battery overnight
Unfortunately this product turned out to be waste of time. It has gone through two sets of good batteries for no reason (i.e. no alarm triggered overnight). There were similar reviews I think and I should not have ignored it. There might be some working ones out there and this shows that their quality is very poor! I could have taken another chance but who wants to leave their security into hands of unreliable product! Instead of spending on fancy packaging they should have spent money on quality...
