Curlsmith - Hydro Style Flexi-Jelly - Vegan Defining Gel for Wavy, Curly or Coily Hair

Lovely light gel which holds my curls without having the 'crunch' affect. I use it with the air-dry cream but actually diffuse with hairdryer on low heat and it gives me a healthy bounce of curls. My hair is thick, curly and quite coarse esp as 50% grey coverage now. Am a real fan of Curlsmith products.

Took a while to figure out the process/amount necessary for my hair (curly girls, you know what I’m talking about!) but now I have it’s working fantastically. Makes those curls form and last! Product seems to last well, given how much I use. Good value at the discounted rate of £10, but would honestly pay full price (though feel a bit sick about it). Once the product is scrunched out, you don’t feel it at all which I love. Hair is soft. Used in combination with a curl smith curl cream. Long, thick 2C/3A for reference.

The gel smells and works fine, quite expensive if not on offer though. The bottle is terrible for this kind of product, hard to get appropriate amount out of it.

I like this. It was recommended. I wear and let my hair dry and lovely curls. I follow instructions.

The best gel I’ve used so far keeps hair in curls but doesn’t have a hard gel cast , leaves hair soft.

I love that this doesn't leave a crispy cast. Keeps my curls in place and looking beautiful without the strong cast. Smells absolutely beautiful. I get so many compliments on the smell of my hair when I use this! Could not live without this now.

This product does nothing for me. I usually have ringlets and this makes my hair dry just wavy rather than curly

This is my favourite styling product for my hair. My hair is curly, dry and frizzy. This product defines the natural curls with a strong hold, and makes them appear more healthy and shiny. This is the only styling product I have been using for years. I’ve tried many, nothing touches curlsmith for curly hair 🙏

This gel is excellent for anyone looking specifically for SLIP in a hair gel. I had a hard time finding a non-sticky formula that worked well on my fine hair, and this one delivers. The hold is medium.

Actually worked without leaving buildup! I didn’t follow directions perfectly so my hair didn’t turn out perfectly BUT I wanted to say this stuff was a big improvement to my hair. First pic in the blue shirt was without Curlsmith, then during the application, then the following morning because I did sleep in it a little damp. I also brushed it out for more volume so your hair might look better lol. But yeah this works great for me made my hair look and feel great too!

Very light gel yet it gives a medium hold to your curls without drying it out. Don’t have to use a lot to get the results you want. Worth every penny
