Great value and gets the job done.
It does lack a little in craftmenship, but just in the fact that it's not fancy at all. It is a great value and to gets the job done well. The material is a little thinner than other holsters I have tried for the 1911 but not to the determent of performance, in fact I think it aids in comfort. If I wanted something ridgid and stayed open after I draw then I would have chosen something other than a pancake holster. I am using this with a SiG 1911R, yes a rail. It's tight at first and requires you to work it a bit and break it in but then I believe all good holsters should be tight at first. After wearing it around a farm a bit and breaking it in I comfortably and with confidence use it as a carry holster. The end of the barrel of a 5in government comes even to the opening of the holster bottom, but I can also carry the 4.25 barrel commander in it just as well.It will not work on a officer model.

So far, so good
I have not worn the holster yet. It does for my 1911 great. Looks good. Definitely appears to rival more expensive holsters. I will update after I wear it a few times. Customer service seems pretty good.

Nice Holster. good craftsmanship for the money.
I like the feel of the holster has on the gun, I feel it is secure and the belt loops are big enough to support wider belts.

Leather is too thin
The media could not be loaded. The leather on this holster is so thin that when you pull the gun out the top of the holster closes. Will not recommend this holster..
