Perfect practice balls
These balls are awesome for the Jugs Lite pitching machine. Even when pitching at the highest speed the balls deliver almost no real pain when hit, feels like a moderate slap on the arm with a small bare hand. It’s helped our team with confidence when facing harder throwing pitchers. We also like how you can use them in the cold and hitting them doesn’t send pain pings through the bat into your hands at all, the balls also won’t damage property.

Not bad, but could be better
I got these balls for use with a Wheeler Dealer soft toss machine. I use them in the back yard and it was important that the balls didn't damage things they came in contact with during the inevitable miss-hit into the deck, back door or window. The balls have a light plastic feel. Much lighter than a regular softball. They definitely do not cause any damage (people even use them for indoor hitting) and I've knocked these into several things, so I'd know. They come off the bat pretty good, but don't travel as far/fast as a normal softball would. I did send one flying over my 7 ft net into open space beyond my back yard, but for the most part they all land safely in the net.The main issue I have with these balls is durability. These are expensive and I'd like them to last. I've only used these a few times and already the balls are in horrible shape (incredibly dirty, scuffed up, etc). The shelf life of these balls would be incredibly small with any semi-regular use. I definitely expected better. The other issue I had was that after one soft toss session with my Nanotek, I noticed that paint was being chipped off the bat wherever the ball came off. I know that using a good bat with anything other than real softballs has the potential for damage, but I figured since these balls were so light it wouldn't harm the bat...WRONG. I was very disappointed to say the least. Lucky I caught it before it got bad. I used an old composite bat afterwards and everything's fine. It could just be how the Nanotek is painted, but either way something to look out for.Anyway...Pros: Light, has softball feel (laces, etc), won't damage anythingCons: Poor durability, expensive, can damage bats

Great for batting practice, but hard to catch in a glove
I purchased these lite softballs to help my daughter with catching pop ups and batting. They have held up very well and do not show signs of wear yet, even though our dog retrieves them when they are dropped or hit. I'm not sure what material they are made of, but they are light while still being sturdy. My only complaint is that they pop out of the glove frequently because they are so light, and they are larger than the regular softballs that we use, which also causes them to bounce out of the glove. Luckily after practicing for a couple of weeks with these my daughter has mastered pop ups, so we have moved on to a regular softball for catching. These will still be used for batting practice.
