Absolutely changes the way I use my desk
This worked out very well for me and my specific office chair. My chair has removeable arm cushions (you can unscrew them) leaving only the frame. This gives a nice flat and even surface to attach these Vivo arm rests to. No problems whatsoever getting the straps to go around the arms because of this. I will say that these are a bit on the longer side that I expected, but thankfully my chair arms barely cleared the length in a comfortable fashion. I can see folks with very short office chair arms that this might not work out. A follow up to another reviewer talking about durability of the screws. I think Vivo took note of this and went back to the drawing board with the design. My arm rests were manufactured in August of 2024 (there's a sticker underneath each one) and the "newer" design has metal sockets drilled into the wood. That means you screw into the sockets and not the wood directly. It's a subtle change that should alleviate the problem of the screws coming apart over time due to the wood loosening. In other words, the screws are not biting into wood directly, they're firmly attached to the metal sockets. I have zero complaints with how things turned out. I actually bought two of them to use on each arm, one for my 65% compact keyboard and the other for my mouse. Now I can do light gaming at my chair without needing to use my desk, a huge relief in terms of posture. I can sit up straight with my elbows and shoulders pulled back behind my neck rather than hunched a bit over like most desk sitting positions. If this works out for you, it's quite literally a game changer. If it doesn't, look for something similar. It helps with posture so much.

Good, but tweaks needed
It came late yesterday. I attached it to the arm rest of my office chair this morning. Initially I didn't think it was going to work. The arm rest is fairly short. So short in fact that the rear most strap doesn't serve as a way of attaching the arm rest mouse pad to the chair even when it's in the least extended state. Fortunately however two straps appear to be sufficient to attach the product to the chair's arm rest. If I had any recommendations to the seller or manufacturer it would be to have longer Velcro straps and most importantly instead of fixing the location of the straps along the length of the platform, make it so that they can be positioned either by providing more places for the straps to be screwed into the platform or by placing the straps on a sturdy bar so that they can slide to the place of the customer's choosing.

It's your best option for arm rest mouse pads
I tried a couple of these chair mouse pad things and this is the only one I found that is worth buying. It's sturdy, it doesn't wobble when you strap it on tightly, and you can always unscrew and move the strap loops if their placement isn't quite right. Which is what I did - I moved the loops about 1-2 inches closer by drilling a couple holes because my armrests aren't very large and that worked like a charm. Some sort of adjustment method that doesn't require moving the strap mounts would be better, but I recognize it's hard to make something that will fit with all chairs. Very happy with it overall though.

Funky but it works
It is almost impossible to find a mouse rest that fits sturdily on the arm of an office chair. This one is the best I've found so far, by which I mean it wobbles and has to be repositioned every few minutes. Beats the heck out of mouse shoulder and wrist nerve bundle damage. I am grateful this item even exists, even if it is funky.

Good for what it is but not crazy about it.
As a mousepad it does the job- good size pad, wide enough to comfortably rest your forearm. The wrist pad is surprisingly supportive and comfortable. That being said, it's pricier than my previous arm rest mousepad, much bulkier and heavier, and while it's obviously tough and durable, it isn't sticky or bound enough to stay in place- it keeps sliding on my chair's arm rest no matter what I do. Maybe it's my chair, but I'm looking for a replacement very soon.

perfect for my needs. probly yours too.
ya know? sometimes you just swing and hope. this was a home run! assembles in 3 minutes, attached SECURELY to chair in less than that. now, my chairs arms are a bit oddly designed, so i could only get 2 of the velcro strips to attach, but this thing is not going anywhere if i am simply careful. no problem. outstanding product for the person who wants to kick back with feet up and who uses mouse more than keyboard. would definitely recommend. only thing i would do different is maybe some sort of clamp system rather than velcro, but as a tinkerer, i will figure out that one myself. well done vivo!

Does what you expect, and something you didn't...
I was surprised at the build quality and how much this improves my ability to use my mouse while sitting back in my chair. However, I was also surprised at how much it reduced my ability to use my keyboard. Previously, I could comfortably sit in my chair and type then balance my mouse on the armrest to use it. Now, due to the width of the elbow rest portion of this device, typing is extremely uncomfortable. Overall, I regret purchasing this, but it does do exactly what it says and is built very well. It is also extremely customizable. Note that if you are buying this for gaming, my issue should not be a factor as you will have your right hand on your mouse most of the time. However, for coding or typing of any length, this is not a good solution. Update: I ended up just using part of this thing. Basically it's a hard mousepad with one velcro strap. This seems to be a decent compromise.

Awesome!
This solved my problem of needing a mouse in the most convenient spot. The wrist cushion is nice and soft and the entired arm rest is secure in the arm of the chair. So grateful for products like this.

It works.
I have been looking for something that I could attach to my office/gaming chair to put my Logitec x56 flight control on and the only things I kept coming across where table clamps, but I wanted to have something on my chair. I bought 1 of these, they seemed expensive and I did not think it would work but to my joy it did. My chair has padded arms so I did not think the board would be very stable but it is. the Velcro straps that come with the board are not fixed so you can rotate them to use in different ways (which is how I made the strap longer to reach around the arm). this is a strong solid build and the company should put down that you can use it for flight control mounts as there is nothing like this product, if you don't include the crappy plastic ones I saw. Works great, really well built, only 8 screws to put together, Expensive but nothing else like it, works with Logitec x56, I am getting my second one for the other arm as I am so happy with this item.

Best so far. Wish it had a better way to stay on and not slide.
Does what I need for the most part. Not compatible with my arm rest.
