Free chlorine does not seem to be accurate (however customer service and confidence in their product are great see update)
Chlorine color doesn't seem to be accurate, my other strip was showing 5 ppm and this strip showed 2 ppm, I fairly certain the 6 was correct as I had a algae build up and I shocked the pool and put in a an extra chlorine dispenser.Update on my review, I originally gave a 3 star review (see above), however the company contacted me without my complaint to insure me they strive for high quality and do testing to make shore their product meets standards of accuracy. They credited my account for the full purchase price, I can only assume from this great customer service that I must have gotten a vial that was exposed to the air or in some way degraded, so I'm going to give them a try again after I use up the strips and test kit I ordered to make sure their results were not correct. With great customer service (not see much nowdays) I'm changing my review to a 5. I didn't think a 3 was to bad because the other tests seemed to be within parameters, but a company that contacts you with a 3 rating to make things right deserves another chance. I'll update again after order the replacement, but it will be awhile as I purchased another strip test kit and dropper kit to make sure the measurements were off and won't order until they are almost used up so the tests kits are not to old.

Questionable accuracy
I used the strips to test several sources of water in my home...distilled water, Berkey water, filtered shower water, tap water, ionized water, etc. As another reviewer stated, it was frustrating because some of the tabs on the strip didn't match any of the colors on the color chart. I also decided to test for consistency of results by dipping two strips in the same water sample and comparing the results. Theoretically, they should be identical. I lost confidence in the accuracy of the strips when the pH and total alkalinity revealed two distinctly different results.11-29-16 I am upgrading from two stars to three stars because the customer service for this company is top notch. They were very prompt in fulfilling their pledge of a satisfaction guarantee.

Don't waste your money on these.
Update 11-12-17 - Did a Fakespot review and saw this product had an F review rating.1-8-17 - The same day I received a reply from this company, numerous other non-verified positive reviews were published. Funny thing? If you look at what those 'people' recently reviewed? They had numerous matching products. Having a bad batch of product get out can happen, but suspect reviews to bolster your product? I call that dirty pool.1-10-17 Funny thing. After a little more checking, I found that several of the 'Verified' reviews during this same time period also had numerous matching products they were giving glowing recommendations for. It makes me wonder how many of the reviews for this product actually come from real customers. Avoid like the plague.Recently, concerned that my pool chemistry seemed so wrong, so I took a water sample had it tested three ways. Half of my sample I took to my local pool store to be tested by their staff. I also bought a pack of 7-Test Leslie Pool Strips and used them and the Healthy Wiser strips on the other half. These strips are so inaccurate that I was shocked. Granted, test strips in general are not quite as good as having your water tested at the store, but a shade of difference this way or that is one thing, but the colors on these strips often did not even match any color on their chart. I liked the idea of the smaller inside packs keeping unused strips fresh, but it doesn't do any good if the darn things can't even come close to accuracy.I was very disappointed.

Chart details
I bought this to test my drinking water. The ideal total chlorine in drinking water is 2 ppm (or mg/l) with anything less than 4 being okay. The graduations on this test strip for total chlorine is 0, 50, 100, 150, 250, 500, 1000. So I think even though the packaging says its for drinking water, it's really set up more for pools. Just as a reference, since I couldn't find this anywhere before purchasing, I'll show the scale for each thing it tests.Total Alkalinity: 0 to 360Free Chlorine: 0 to 20pH: 6 to 9Total Hardness: 0 to 240Total Chlorine: 0 to 1000Cyanuric Acid: 0 to 240Nitrite: 0 to 500Nitrate: 0 to 500Bromine: 0 to 40

These caused my pool to be unusable for a week and counting
NOT happy! I've never write a bad review on Amazon. Your strips gave me bad readings for ph, chlorine, total chlorine, and alkalinity. There is obviously something wrong with them but I didn't realize it until I dropped 40 bucks in chemicals into the pool. Now we can't swim and I have to go get neutralizer, ph down, etc and probably have to spend another 30-40 bucks to fix it. Well I tried the first one and when I dipped it in it showed everything as being to low. Which was understandable cause I just got back from a 11 day vacation. So I starting adding baking soda, chlorine etc. Waited the night then dipped it again in the morning. It was showing me pretty close to the same readings. So I start adding more of both. Repeat repeat. Then I said there's got to be something wrong here. So then I tested my tap water. Guess what? Nearly same readings I was getting from the pool, oh was showing 6. so I went up to the pool store and bought another test kit and when I tested, all the readings were off the charts. Everything was extremely high. Well it's been 90+ degrees all week and my family hasn't been able to go swimming. Thanks a lot for the lousy test strips.

These are for treating drinking water
These strips are not specific to pool water, so they do not test cyanuric acid, which is pool stabilizer. Also they aren't easy to read for pH. I would say if you want to know about chemicals in your drinking water, ok. Or if you think you've got some odd mineral in your pool water, then maybe. I'm just not happy that it wasn't clear that these strips aren't really for testing pool water, and that's not made clear from the description.

Does not appear to work accurately :(
Giving 2 stars because the concept is great, and the different chemical levels which are measured are great. One problem but it's kind of a large one - it doesn't appear to give accurate results. We were looking for something which could replace our reagent manual pool water testing and be a lot faster, but these strips always give a much lower pH and free chlorine level. I can't be sure about the other levels because those are the two levels which I can compare to our sensor and our manual reagent tests (and those two tests always return extremely close results, so I trust those).

Doesn't test water hardness
Misleading description, I should have looked closer at the packaging. Was looking to test for total water hardness. Unfortunately these strips contrary to the description do not test for Ca2 or Mg2 so that's a bust. The tests it does provide were consistent to other tests done on our water.

Not useful for hard water testing
I bought these strips to test for hard water. The colour difference between soft and hard water is so slight, you need to be tetra chromatic to tell the difference. The other 8 tests are of marginal usefulness for most municipalities that have a decent water system. The instructions also include claims that these strips can used used to test for things like e-coli, lead and pesticides, but actually can't.The tests are packaged in sets of 25, not individually as in the other reviews. The only way to make these strips more useful is if they are more sensitive. The colour change is so slight that it's really hard to tell from 1 level to the next. Once dried, all the square turn the same colour so you can save them to compare.
