ACCURATE TEMPERATURES
Mounted in pickup and has very accurate temperature indications

This thing is smol
Very compact display which is what I wanted. Haven't calibrated to my Fluke thermocouple yet but temps seem to stay consistent. The blue display does not light well at lower end of voltage range but comes to life at 12/24vdc. Will likely need to calibrate after install as I will add ~20' of wire to the thermistors. Will also be in thermowells as your sensor should never contact the process material.

These are tiny
These are not what I expected. They are very very small. Too small for my panel. I will update when I test it out. Just not sure if I will ever use it.

Poor accuracy over time in liquids
I bought two of these, one for each of my two aquariums. I temporarily installed them and put one probe in the left side of the tank the other probe in the right side. I let them sit for about three or four weeks and the temperatures for each probe were usually within a 10th of a degree with of each other so I thought they would be just fine. I then took the time to chisel out a hole in the cabinet to recess the gauge, so it would look nice and reinstalled the probes on each end of the tank. all is good for about two months. Then one probe started getting about 5/10 of a degree off and within three months of that the temperature is varied at least 20° from each other, just being inside the same aquarium tank one on the left side one on the right side. I know they can be programmed and be reset and recalibrated manually. But a 20° variance that needs correcting every 3 months is unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend these to anyone that needs to keep track of the temperature of a fish tank.

Great for custom applications- each channel can be calibrated!
They're not forthcoming with instructions on how to adjust/calibrated each channel but it involves holding down the micro pushbutton on the PCB until you reach the menu. To reach the menu, hold down the button for 2~3 seconds...•Short clicks scroll thru the parameter selection, press and hold to adjust the parameter•When the parameter is being adjusted by holding the button down, it will increment. Release the button for a second and hold it down again to decrement. It's a little confusing but it really does work! The method described is something you really have to do yourself - until you 'get it'To make life easier, I desoldered the surface mount pushbutton and added a normally open pushbutton on a 8" length of wire...I put the works (batteries, switch & display in an appropriate enclosure)I fabricated a Subcooling & Superheat measurement instrument from this device...the RED colored display measures/displays the temperature of the high pressure/liquid line. The BLUE colored display measures/displays the temperature of the low pressure/suction line.By use of a custom made circular split bushing which replaces the jaws of a plastic spring clamp (to hold the thermistors on each of the aforementioned lines) I'm able to calculate subcooling & superheat parameters whilst adding refrigerant to an HVAC system.Powered by 2x 18650 batteries - this thing works great. It's accurate on a 2 point calibration - if you take the time to do it.I think it's an excellent gauge. Great price point - love the 2 different colors on the display. This is the way to get a good thermometer gauge for a great price. I'm going to purchase several more since these work so well. Two thumbs up!

Excellent after some quick mods
I installed this onto a 2020 Express Van that lacked a temp feature. Every single connector needed lengthening for my application, and you can actually tell its sold such that you need to supply extra wire to install. Not a worry for me though. I bought a roll of 20 gauge wire (red and black) for the positive and negative, and a separate roll of 26 gauge wire (also red and black) to extend the temp probes as needed. Also bought some butt connectors that heat shrink and a roll of wire sheathing to protect the wires.NOTE - these gauges of wire were an exact match to what this kit uses. I wanted that to be confident in the temp probe readings.I put the exterior probe through the firewall and routed it in front of the radiator, where it would get the best reading and not have it skewed by warm "engine air."I hid the other probe behind the dashboard under the radio in such a way that I could truly trust interior cab readings.I wired the head unit up to a circuit that is powered only when the vehicle is on and then calibrated the probes using instructions from the provider in the product images and compared against two different wireless probe kits I have for my BBQ.For me,, the unit started in Celcius, but using instructions i easily changed that to Fahrenheit. I will say that in my case, I needed to calibrate my probes about 5.5 degrees cooler than what my BBQ probes read to get the temperatures to match. For example, if my BBQ probes said 72 degrees ambient air temp, I had to calibrate this kit to 66.5 degrees. Then after the unit would exit calibration mode, the "measured and displayed" temp would be about 0.2 degrees off of my BBQ probes. I'm not sure if the extended wiring were a factor, but once calibrated to where readings matched, I am happy to report that this item reads temp just as accurately as my BBQ probes across my sample of lows in the upper 50's at night and highs in the upper 90's during the day.In all, for the $15 it cost plus another $15 in extra wire, butt connectors, terminal ends, and wire sheathing, I am VERY happy.

Initially worked well, but after 2 months the display for sensor 2 flaked out
The media could not be loaded. While it worked, it was working great!! I just expected it to last longer than 2 months....
