It's a nice blanket but while the description says one side is "Japanese cooling fibres" the label on the blanket says it's nylon.

Ok so I'm gonna write an honest review because I have tested this item for the day.Today has been a hot day and I've been bed bound, so this blanket arrived this morning. It has its own Carry bag which is handy.Instantly when I started unfolding the material I could feel the cold from the blanket.I'm pretty impressed with that , it feels like the cold side of a pillow on a warm night.So watched TV for an hour with blanket on, yes it works it cools and kept me cool no problem, I found that shaking the blanket helped reset the coolness.Meanwhile under that blanket them fibres were just irritating the heck out of my bare legs and tummy.I could recommend the item for sure on the fact it does what it says but please check the materials are okay against your skin.

The size and colour were as expected. Even in the middle of winter l sleep with a fan on and only a sheet & fleece on the bed, so the hot summer nights do not agree with me. I used this blanket with a sheet and have definitely slept better the last couple of nights. You don’t feel cold as such but the covers don’t get hot once you are in bed.

Possibly the best purchase I've made in recent history. $200 is pretty steep for a blanket and I have to admit I bawked for a while at the price tag but I saw a sale and I took it. I've never slept better, the slight pressure puts me to sleep almost immediately and my rest is more effective than I think it's ever been. I am a light sleeper and wear earplugs every night, the slightest movement wakes me up, I'm that guy. This blanket has changed that, I sleep through my husbands alarm no problem, I don't even notice him getting out of bed. I don't even wake enough during the night to notice the cats sleeping on me (that's simply unimaginable to me). I'm so happy I purchased this blanket.Now then some pros and cons:Pros:- Never slept more soundly, great improvement in quality of life.- Quilt seems to be of sturdy construction- Quilt isn't so hot that I'm throwing it off in the middle of bed- Cat's don't like sleeping under it so they leave me aloneCons:- It doesn't come with a cover and I think it would be a nightmare to launder. Order a duvet cover in the same size. So they won't go under it like a normal blanket. I have a regular duvet to swap to when I want kitten cuddles when I want them.If you're on the fence, buy it and try it. I was unconvinced but I'm happy I gave it a shot.

This blanket really does help to keep cool on warm nights.I've added some photos to try to show the different fabrics on each side of the blanket. One side is slightly shiny and cooler than the other.The blanket is light weight, thin but not as thin as a sheet and yes it's cool.Definitely worth the investment for the summer where I get so overheated at night.
