My main interest in Air Fryer is how it can cook chips . I have a deep fat fryer that uses less than 2 litres of oil but corn oil the best choice is now over £4 a litre . Added to that the oil gets contaminated very quickly and over time the fryer gets covered in an oil film no matter what you do . Oven chips cooked in a conventional oven are never that good . This is literally the first time I have used this Cosori "Air Fryer " to my mind it is a small fan oven . BBC recently did a podcast on subject ; which was very informative ; one of the presenters colleagues specifically recommended Cosori . This particularly model was reduced by 40% ( clearance ) It is very neat and has a footprint smaller than the deep fat fryer , though a bit taller . I followed the excellent manual ; including test cleaning ; which is a good idea . So I cooked one portion of frozen Tesco crinkle cut chips ; these are precoated in oil but I have been deep frying them recently . Adding a small amount of oil to the tray and preheating . I followed the instructions for fires but checked the product after 5mins to shake/ stir and after 15 minutes it was clear that these would burn in another 5 minutes so I reduced the temperature to warm the last 5 minutes . and the end result was very nice chips better than the deep fryer as they were cooked better inside .As regards some of the other claims for Air Fryers in general . I have a 50cm double gas oven so economy wise I think it is cheaper as electricity units are about 4 times the cost i certainly wouldn't want a big " Air Fryer " even with the convenience of 2 drawers the expense and space needed are just too much . As an auxiliary to the main cooker and being able to do away with the deep fat fryer this Cosori is ideal . We tend to eat potatoes or other equivalent with our meals and maybe 2 vegetables ; so it is not feasible to cook a whole meal in this . For 2 or three people this fryer is ideal to cook one thing in my case probably fried potatoes of some kind ; I think it would be ok to bake suitable meats or fish . Even at £100 this fryer/ oven is quite good value at £60 it is excellent . Very impressed with build quality and it is much quieter than my extractor , so noise isn't an issue . The bottom line is the cooking results depends on the quality of the food and paying attention to how you use it ; not over filling or using inappropriate timings or temperatures . Very impressed with first trial .

I am a bona fide customer - I dont get products to review. Our son in law got a large air fryer a Cosori that connects the internet and he and our daughter love it. We wanted something smaller just for the two of us so we ordered this model (as above) We ordered this Air Fryer 25th Jan 2022. It arrived a few days later undamaged well packed with a few recipes in a book not really many. Forget the App they ask you to download for extra recipes - it doesnt work. tc etc.However I did managed to register my product through the app for the two year guarantee that worked fine. There are hundred of recipe books out there just go choose the type of recipes for your diet. There is meat, vegan, vegetarian, low carb etc etc.BEFORE USE - I washed the pan/draw in soapy water and rinsed it well, same with the tray that fits inside at the bottom. It creates a space of air under the food for the hot air to circulate and the fats to collect away from the food.FIRST USE - baked potatoes, I put a very very thin layer of Rapeseed oil on the potatoes and set the fryer to cook them. It worked fine and they were cooked inside and crispyish on the outside. They actually tasted find.The BAD NEWS - when you use this air fryer for the first time, use it on a fine sunny day OUTSIDE your house. While the air fryer was cooking the smell that emanated from the heated plastic was HORRENDOUS and we could smell it for a few days after.The GOOD NEWS - Second use, we heated frozen baguettes, cooked to perfection and hardly any heated plastic smell at all.The BEST NEWS - Third use we air fried bacon it was lovely and the smell of the air fryer plastic has completely disappeared.CLEAN UP.The draw / cooking pan is coated in non- stick , The shelf also is non stick. Although it says that you can put the cooking draw and shelf in the dish washer - I have chosen not to do so. Straight after a meal i just use hot soapy water and a soft nylon brush to clean both parts, rinse in warm water and dry them with paper kitchen towel 5 minute no problems at all with cleaning.We bought this air fryer for us, two people who buy stuff to warm up in the oven pies, pizza baguettes, frozen breaded fish, potatoes, fish fingers and of course the fries or chips as we call them in the UK. There is nothing in that list that can not go in the Air Fryer which should i hope reduce our carbon footprint and the energy bill. e.g. When cooking with the gas oven i.e. cooking frozen battered fish total time is half an hour on gas regulao 7 / 425F / 218C. The air fryer takes 15/20 minutes on a lower setting.If you have a larger family get a bigger one that 4.7ltr up to now this has sufficient for us two.PS i still use a pressure cooker for meals and a microwave for tins beans peas etc etc.I will add to this review in a few months.Strangely enough have not fried chips yet, so once I have done

I have had a smaller Corsair Air Fryer for about two yeas. worked well but wanted something just a little bigger. So ~I purchased this Fryer to relace it. I thought the old one was good, but was amazed how good this was, powerful cooked things much quicker, without any problems, was much easier to clean, you can put in dishwasher, but didn't need it cleaned just fine in sink. good non-stick surfaces, made it easy. I gave the older one to my Daughter, but thinking of buying her this one, so much better. and a good price too

I had an all singing and dancing ninja and nothing that I air fried was liked by myself or hubby, and he wasn’t impressed by the price either!!!! So expensive. I ended up using just the slow cooker and pressure cooker on it. I found the air fry, a little hit and miss, a little trial and error and I don’t have the time, patience or money to waste trying to get the temp/time right. I find recipes very hit and miss. One might say as an old fashioned scratch cook, I’m struggling with these newer pieces of equipment which although are time saving, energy saving etc, do not give the same results no matter how you dress it up! So I gave it to my son, who finds the slow cook and pressure cook quick for him when he’s working. I can see older people seeing it as a quick cooker as well, saving time, energy, and washing up! Anyway, I purchased a separate pressure cooker a cosori which I like very much, that and the fact it has a sous vide which has so far worked well! However, I don’t like deep frying and we no longer like any oven chips since all the different supermarkets and brands seem to have changed their recipes. (Cutback/healthy?) so I usually shallow fry potatoes. Anyway, I decided to bite the bullet thinking perhaps I was a little hasty and judgemental, so I had a look again!! Adverts and their pictures make them look so good yet the reality end results …..Hmmmmm! I certainly wasn’t going to splash out £300 on a ninja again. Looked at cosori. This one was on offer. So I bought it. It arrived as one would expect with buying on Amazon really quickly and well packaged. It is a very good looking piece of equipment. Very sleek. It’s quite simple. Basket pulls out when button depressed, a little pull out tray sits in the bottom of the basket, so air can get underneath to circulate. It has been so easy to clean. The buttons on top are easy to understand, it is quite a simple model. However, excited to use it, It took me 4-5 attempts at getting chips to an acceptable chip, the first time following the instruction manual they were way over cooked. Luckily potatoes are not too expensive!!! I cooked some home made/marinaded chicken tikka in it. Based on the chips I kept and eye on them as I found the machine is high temp and quick! The tikka was cooked very quickly and slightly over temp even after just 8mins. Not too bad as it was going in a curry. Tried some bhajis, they were over cooked at first attempt. Second attempt looked great on outside weren’t overly nice inside! I will say that might just be the recipe??? After trying a few other things, I’m beginning to think it’s me! I’m too fussy about actually getting the end results I prefer. It has a sort of ready meal v home cooked feel. I wouldn’t even mind getting the results that resemble the picture of the recipe I’m following. Recently tried crisps….watched a tutorial. Followed it exactly. Over cooked and dark brown. Tried again different temp and time, overcooked on edges soggy in middle. Tried again, slightly dark but crispy, ok but nothing like crisps. I even tried different widths of potatoes on my mandolin. Perhaps it’s the kind of potato! I don’t know, but I keep making excuses to justify perhaps another waste of money gadget ! I’ve had one success that was very nice….. cubed sautéed potatoes which I initially put on for 10 min with a shake half way, then stood over machine and shook every 2mins and watched until I was happy! Hubby said they were good so yea! I will keep going, as it was probably at this point of trying last time that I gave up, and it wasn’t just with potatoes last time, it was with lots of things, homemade souther fried chicken, homemade breaded fish, kebabs etc, but this time I’m weary of ruining meat, poultry and fish as it’s so expensive if it goes wrong! I’ve got my eye on trying some of the Cosori recipes on line so may give them a go and hopefully get used to it. I do envy people determined to like what they’ve cooked, because they’ve paid out loads of money for the machine and settle for so so results. You know the ones who go on holiday have a rubbish time and then come back and say how wonderful it was. However, I’m not one of those people, I tell it as it is. I think it will be useful to a degree if I can find one or two things I like, it will be like another saucepan to cook with, you know like at xmas when you need all your rings and the oven and …..something else, this will be the something else!.However, overall, the Jury’s out for me!

I haven't used it yet but it is my second air fryer in 3 days. I bought a cheaper one then decided I wanted something a little larger and went for this brand. To be honest I am very excited (maybe too excited) I also got 3year insurance out for this because I know my luck. This is a birthday present to myself. You know the older you get the more appliances you gift yourself ahahaIt definitely feels more premium than the other oneI returned (not to bash that one because it too looked lovely). I think I am definitely getting a more premium product here. It has a LED glass touchscreen at the top that is slightly tilted towards the viewer. The draw mechanism is actually really secure. You won't be able to accidentally pull it out and to put it in. You have to press the button as well to lock it in place. I like that it switches off or goes into a dormant state if you take the draw out and then reactivates once you put it back in. The first thing I cooked...chicken wings! They were cooked in 20minutes although I put them back in for another 5 to crisp up the underside. I opted to use a silicone tray inside to help with the mess and the clean up, the down side to that is that the under sides of things don’t get that hot air hitting it.All in all I’m happy with my purchase, it’s not one of though super large units so it’s easy to pack away in a corner on your counter top. It does pack a little weight to it but nothing the average person couldn’t handle.and although my recipes book has a little tear on one of the pages I’m not too fussed. There are a lot of recipes in this little booklet that I will definitely be exploring at a later point.My final note on this air fryer is to do with how unbelievably quiet it is. So far all I’ve heard is a little hum in the background.

I have two Towers, a Ninja 12-1 (which I never use, too complicated/phaffy) and a Cuisinart dual, this is my latest AF purchase as I wanted a diddy machine for snacks etc. Took me ages to decide between this and a Tefal, but Cosori won purely on numbers, they have sold soooo many. Oh, and they seem to have a caring reputation. We are into June and I have used my big convection oven once this year. For a Roast. Every other meal has been done in one of my air fryers, or slow cookers. Love my air fryers don’t love how their non-stick is not long-stick though! They are a consumable like kettles and toasters, which is very naughty of manufacturers. If they were enamel lined, or pyrex glass, we wouldn’t need to buy them so often, and they would make way less money, so it is all a profit game, sadly, but nevertheless, they are the best thing since sliced bread – even thought they don’t really save energy because of how throwaway they are, and, landfill etc, but, if you love cooking, air fryer makes cooking fun and fast. I love t his diddy Cosori, it has swanky glass top, and neat matt grey exterior, easy clean basket and grill, and even a wee button on the handle. Not too noisy either. If you are new to air fryers, this is a great place to start, don’t go cheap, you’ll be disappointed, it is worth paying a bit more for the quality – I know, this is my 9th air fryer!

I had a Tefal air fryer which was fairly limited in what it could do as it had a paddle but we used it quite often for about the last 7 years or more. However the energy crisis and the fact that our oven has packed up simply had me looking around for a new air fryer. I did my research and realised I didn't need a ninja so anything with a good review will do. The Instant pot was out of stock and by chance the Cosori popped up and after checking couple of reviews and online videos I opted for the Cosori as it's sleek design also caught my eye along with the excellent feedback as well as the FB community pages packed with recipes. Their 2 year warranty was reassuring as I had never heard of this brand. I ordered and it arrived within 2 days which was a surprise but most welcome.I must say it's an absolute gem so far as it cooks food in half the the time of my old Tefal pad airfryer. I did some chicken thighs in about 14mins (10 min press and I added 4 to brown it a bit more). I cooked some sausages from frozen in 10 mins and added an extra 3 mins to get them brown). This morning I boiled some eggs in 10 mins so no steamy kitchen and no need to watch the pot.The glass tempered screen on the top is clear and pretty idiot proof imho but some may think differently. The presets can be amended as you can alter the temperature and the time which is excellent so there's plenty of flexibility.The overall design is very pleasing to the eye and differs from the usual Air fryer styles which are a bit ugly but that's just me.The tray is nice and solid and fits nice and easy without any fuss. The fact that the pan is square is a bonus especially when cooking a joint. Also cleaning it it with a sponge and soap and water is a 2 minute job so no hassle there.The preheat is 4 mins but you can alter it so not really a problem but you can go manual and not bother with a preheat.I will be cooking a couple of rump steaks later tonight so I may report back on how it went. I followed an online recipe and ignored the preset so it cooked a much lower temperature and for longer. FOLLOWUP: The steak looked and tasted great however next time I will try the preset which a higher temperature was only 6 mins.I will be putting it to the test with a whole chicken come the weekend so wish me luck!FOLLOW UP: The medium chicken from Aldi fitted nicely in the tray and after seasoning I gave it 60 mins in the Cosori with a turnover after 30 mins. I think I could have gotten away with 45 mins but I wanted to be sure it was cooked. The chicken tasted great nice and soft and juicy and the missus said it was the best meal I’ve made her.Next on my list is a leg of lamb. FOLLOW UP: The 1.5 kg leg of lamb fitted nicely in the tray as I looked for a more square piece with less bone. After defrosting it I seasoned it with 2 tablespoons of oil, salt and pepper, garlic powder and mixed herbs. I left it covered for a few hours in the fridge. And took it out an hour prior to cooking to get it to room temperature. I set it at 180c for 20mins then turned it over and gave it another 40 mins. I like it well done and checked it with a knife. I let it rest for 10-15mins and served it with steamed veggies. The missus gave me 10/10 as it was well cooked, tender and juicy. Another great result and it seems I’m now cooking every Sunday.it comes with a 2 year warranty, manual, recipe book and access to the app which has more recipes in it. Also there's a FB community and oodles of recipes online.Overall for the price you will not be disappointed as I certainly wasn't.When it's back in stock buy it!

My first air fryer experience, so coming at it as a complete novice.So far, after a week of use, I am delighted with this product. I would benefit from more expansive instructions relating to cook times for a range of standard foods, but a little help from my AI friends has been beneficial.The design seems excellent to me, I have no complaints. Build quality is high considering the price of the unit. It's not as noisy as I expected, less so than e.g. my dishwasher. Because the tray is dishwasher safe, cleaning is quick and simple. Cooking steak in 5 minutes or so with consistency and to a pleasing standard is brilliant. French fries come out better than I've ever had from a conventional oven. That's enough to make me happy with the purchase.

Las freidoras de aire (air fryer) son una excelente alternativa a las freidoras tradicionales. Yo hacía tiempo que tenía una freidora sin aceita Actifry de Tefal, y estaba contento, pero era bastante limitado porque tiene una pala giratoria con la que no podías cocinar ciertos productos (por ejemplo, si ponías croquetas, estas se destrozaban antes de que quedasen fritas). Con este tipo de producto, esto se resuelve. Y además, en el caso concreto de Cosori, el producto es excelente:✅ Diseño espectacular. Realmente, es de los pocos electrodomésticos que tengo que dejo encima de la encimera porque quedan bonitos a la vista.✅ Muy buena capacidad. A tener en cuenta que este modelo tiene una capacidad de 4,7L. Hay otro modelo de Cosori que el tamaño exterior es prácticamente igual, pero la capacidad interior es menor (3,8L), aunque tiene conectividad con el móvil como funcionalidad adicional que este modelo de 4,7L no tiene. En mi caso, prefiero mayor capacidad a la funcionalidad del móvil que yo no voy a utilizar.✅ Muy fácil de utilizar, con un panel táctil superior que queda todo clarísimo.✅ Muy fácil de limpiar. Pero realmente muy, muy fácil. Con la Actifry de Tefal que tenía antes, limpiar la freidora era un suplicio, especialmente cuando hacáis alitas de pollo.✅ Y por supuesto, lo más importante: el resultado final de lo que cocinas, es excelente.Así que sin duda, sería un producto que recomendaría, y muy en concreto este de Cosori porque por calidad, precio, y diseño, creo que es insuperable.👍 Espero que mi opinión te haya resultado útil 👍

J'ai comparé plusieurs appareils, celui-ci me semblait le meilleur et j'en suis ravie, je le trouve parfait et il remplace mon four et mes plaques de cuisson cet été !Les + :- silencieux- facile à nettoyer à la main (ou passe au lave vaisselle)- volume du panier pratique pour 1/2 personnes- prise en main instantanée et intuitive- consommation électrique raisonnable- beau design- fonctions faciles à utiliser- prix imbattable (avec amazon seconde main "comme neuf")- fonction "shake" qui bip pour rappeler de remuer ou retourner les aliments- temps de cuisson quasi divisé par deux comparé à un four- livret de recettes pour donner des idées- variété de recettes possibles (pomme au four, frites, légumes rôtis, petit déjeuner surgelé à réchauffer, pizzas, croques-monsieur...)Les - :- surface matte qui montre les traces de doigts (un coup de chiffon humide suffit)- souffle un peu d'air tiède/chaud à l'arrière le temps que c'est en route, mais c'est le cas de tous les air fryer

We’re delighted so far with this Cosori Air Fryer. 👍 Great size and sleek design, low noise level, very easy to use and clean, excellent choice of instant cook options, and all of our food has been perfectly cooked in minimal time compared to using our oven. 👍 It’s so easy to add an extra minute or more if you want items to be crisper (ie. we don’t like anaemic sausages 😆), and the half-way reminder option to Shake or Turnover food is ideal. 👍 We’d definitely buy this model again and highly recommend it. The best airfryer I ever used. The food is not dry and cooks the piece equally.
