STAR WARSThe Black Series Shark Leader Action Figure, 6"

Director Orson Krennic climbed ranks during the Clone Wars, turning municipal grounds on Coruscant into military command centers in the Imperial aesthetic we've all come to know. Later becoming the Director of advanced weapons research for the Imperial Security Bureau, Krennic revived the long stalled Death Star project. So this guy was a big player in the Galactic Empire. If I have to find one issue with this figure it's that we didn't get an alternate head from when he was younger with his Imperial hat as seen in the beginning of Rogue One when he lands at the Erso farm on Lah'mu. Other than that, this is a great Imperial figure to have.I love troopers and building up my Imperial garrison so It's nice to have an Imperial Officer to lead them, Krennic is an Admiral so it's nice to have such a high ranking officer to boot. I'm ok with Hasbro choosing to go with a softer plastic for the cape rather than soft goods. I think they did a superb job making the cape look like actual fabric, the sculpted detail is great. It fits nicely on Krennic's shoulders, doesn't fall off and the figure looks good with it on or off. Krennic's DT-29 heavy blast pistol fits well in his holster as well as his hands and has nice detailing and paint highlights. The rank plague on his chest is painted nice, I like the gloss shine on his boots, just overall really nice paint applied to the figure considering it's mostly black and white. The head sculpt is great and looks a lot like Ben Mendelsohn who played Orson krennic in Rogue One. I'm a big fan of Ben Mendelsohn and I think Hasbro did him justice here, from certain angles this looks just like him. As usual, articulation is on par with what we've come to expect.I know some people found the character to be a bit underwhelming as a villain, but I found him to be a fantastic villain. He's angry, he's ambitious, and he doesn't care about anyone. He yells at Governor Grand Moff Tarkin in front of a room of officers and questions Vader to his face (or helmet), Krennic definitely was a force to be reckoned with. Plus he had the coolest body guards, Death Troopers were awesome. Like I said, I wish we had gotten an additional head sculpt with his black Imperial Officer hat, but that's such a small complaint. What we do get here is really solid, we've yet to get any other Imperial Officers in this scale from the Black Series, and being such a big fan of the actor and this character, this was a must have for me and this figure comes FULLY APPROVED.

The current line of Hasbro Star Wars Action Figures have been a real disappointment, with the exception of the 6" Black Series. These figures, with their quality sculpts, excellent articulation and robust construction, harken back to the 'Golden Age' of Star Wars figures in the 1990's and early 2000's. These figures are expensive, however if you can find them at a discount they are well worth collecting.This particular figure features a very good sculpt and at such a good price it was a most welcome addition to the collection.

I love this figure in THE BLACK SERIES. The cape is a soft rubber, and the rest is hard plastic. The figure looks quite realistic, and is a good likeness of Director Krennic. Yet in my mind he looks like a very stern HR director who you can have endless fun talking about issues with... sexual harassment, equal pay, and discrimination in the workplace. He seems to not really care about any of it!

Looks very cool. Bright white. I like the cape too. Basic articulation on these officer figures.

The figure arrived on its earliest estimated delivery time in good condition. The director seems to be nimble and quite grandios, still could be a bit more detailed but for its price its good enough, great part of an imperial collection.

Was a gift for someone I guess they liked it

Not going to ever be the "favorite" figurine... but my son liked it. Unforunately, his arms weren't as multi-directional and bendy as he expected... so the toy broke within 2 weeks and cant fix the small bearings where the arms rotate. It worth it to him for me to buy a new one, since there are other characters he rather have more.
