Love these shelves! Also love that they came with a note on the history of where they came from! I thought they were a little pricey, but they’re worth it! Shipping was fast. Not too difficult to hang. Overall, extremely satisfied!

Worth the $

Very happy. 66 inch mantle. About 1/2 hour install with 4 brackets supplied with mantle. Would definitely buy again.

This looks redder than the picture, and it took my husband 2 days and a special drill bit and it still won’t go on the provided hardware. And he is an extremely handy guy. He said it’s the “ most overpriced piece of schmit I have ever bought”. Would return if I didn’t have holes and am past the return deadline. :(

Not at all what I expected. Difficult to mount--unless you're an expert--with confusing instructions and a design that results in an unstable, unsightly mantel. I had to use extra supports to keep the thing from falling onto the floor. The wood may be 150 years old but it just looks like a piece of scrap, with old nail-holes and splintered edges. For now it's hanging precariously on my wall, but I'm looking for something better.
