Have you ever chipped a bowl/plate? As a potter, I've had my share, but when my husband accidentally chipped several bowls' edges, I didn't want to throw them out since they were my favorites. By happenstance, I saw a Youtube clip on Kintsugi where master craftsmen mended bowls and painted gold over the cracks as a decorative measure. Bingo! That's where the gold nail polish comes into the picture, and it's much easier/cheaper than gold paint. I will not put the pottery into the dish washer or soak in hot water. The nail polish was perfect in letting me have continued pleasure in using my bowls.

Very pretty color but shows brush stroke. Disappointing for the price.
