Getting this as a gift for my brother, does it run small? I see a lot of mixed reviews, so I want to know if this is right for adults?

I bought it as a gift for my adult nephew and he didn't mention it was small. He loves it.

Can it stand up to the snow?

I can't say as we rarely get snow, however it appears we'll enough made to withstand the cold.

Would this be too big for a 12 year old? How about for a 7 year old?
