Speck Products SPK-A0125 Fitted Hard Case with Fabric for iPod Touch 4G - TartanPlaid White

It's a 2-piece case that snaps together. So I was worried about the fit after reading some reviews. Glad to say, good solid fit. No gaps reported. Easy to put together but won't easily come apart. There are cutouts for access to the buttons and the tactile quality of the fabric on the back is nice.Just one thing. This case doesn't have a high lift. You CAN still put your iPod face down on a table. There's enough lift to prevent your screen from touching the table. But if you are going to do that a lot, you might be more comfortable with a higher lift.I wanted to protect my iPod, but didn't want to cover it up with a boring plastic shell. Looked at a lot of cases and after a long search, finally chose this one for the design and the fabric back. It's nice and different.

This case is pretty much exactly what I was looking for. It's comfortable to hold, nice to look at, and most importantly, protects my iPod without adding bulk. My only complaint is that the front and back of the case don't snap together tightly on the upper right side, leaving a bit of a gap there. A video reviewer noted the same thing about his Speck case, so this may be a common issue w/ the fitted fabric-backed cases for iPod Touch 4.

This case does have everything: the fabric back creates a nice texture that allows you to hold onto it easily, it fits very well around the iPod Touch and most importantly it protects your iPod. My case does snap around tightly even on the upper right corner so this issue isn't universal to all the fabric-backed Speck cases.

Be sure not to drop your iPod with this case. I am a college student, and I try to be as careful as possible, but hey, accidents happen when you're on the move. I dropped this case, and a piece cracked off, compromising said case. It stays on just fine, but any time I have dropped it since, the case comes apart without fail.

Very nice but began to wear out after about 6 months. The fabric is very nice but because it is very thin, once it starts to wear, it begins to peel away from the case.

When the product came the packaging was literally in tatter, when I open the box there signs of prior use to the case even though it was auction off as "Good as new". The case snap together but didn't have a very strong hold so it constantly fell apart. I was rather disappointed by this product.

Picked up this case from Target because $25 isn't too bad for one. It has a really cool pattern, feels nice, but I can't say I trust the case with my life. Gaps are exposed after a while, leading me to believe it could fall off.

As with most iPod Touch 4G owners, I've been going through several cases in search for The One. I just got this from a local seller and I think I can stop looking for more cases to get. It feels great in my hands. I'm sure I'm gonna have to remove the case if ever I want to dock it but I don't so not a problem yet.
