A beautiful writer- unappreciated by shallow minded publishers
Tanith Lee, who died much too young, went out of fashion and had great difficulty getting published in later years. This is tragic because she was a brilliant writer. She kept on writing whether they published her or not. Every page of this book has turns of phrase that are so beautiful and delicate and expressive that I would go back and read them twice before continuing. This book concludes the trilogy which began with The Storm Lord and continued with Anackire.

I enjoyed it, but it's not her best
