Google Nest Thermostat - Smart Thermostat for Home - Programmable Wifi Thermostat - Snow (Renewed)

Works great. I love being able to control my thermostat from my phone and set temps for different times of the day. It has saved me money on my energy bill. Installation was simple according to my husband (I don't do those things) and it looks great with the suggested beautifier plate underneath it.

Pretty solid nest product. It was very easy to install and looks way more sleek than my older thermostat

3 week update: I did end up installing this thing. Works fine MOSTLY. Relative Humidity sensor is completely broken - reads 73% while all other hydrogemeters in my 800sf apartment read between 50% & 60%. It also does not work with the nest app which is bizarre. I'm not sure this thing is capable of learning your habits and adapting accordingly. Honestly this isn't cheap enough for the issues. Buy new. Original Review: The welcome and set-up QR codes provided on inside of the box led to a credit card skimming site. I did not understand why Nest needed my cc info, but I was tired and submitted it against my better judgement. Instantly received a Chase fraud notification letting me know they were closing and replacing the card. I cannot believe Amazon allowed this to occur. This vendor needs to be deplatformed. As for the actual device? Still working on that... Not sure I even want to install it now. Who knows if it was tampered with further during the "refurbishing". I've purchased many thousands of products on Amazon over the years and this is definitely a first.

I bought my home 17 years ago so my thermostat was dated. I make subtle upgrades to my home and this was one of them. I like that it has wifi and connects to Google home. It was easy to install and seems to be a good quality. I no longer have to get up or yell to ask one of my children to adjust the temp in the house I can schedule the settings from my phone. I am pleasantly pleased with this purchase.

Bought this for a family friend. She is out of town a lot and she has cats at home. Sometimes she worries about the climate in the house and with the nanny cams she has to watch them through the house and the automated feeder. We thought this would be a nice addition to help give her peace of mind while she’s away knowing that her cats are warm enough or cool enough during the day while she’s out of town.

I love it. Very easy to install

Came in original packaging and appears brand new. However it looses one star because it had not been reset to factory defaults which resulted in hours long installation process over two days. The factory reset process was not that intuitive to me even though I have an electrical engineering degree. I was probably mislead by a couple of UTube videos based on an earlier software version on how to reset to factory defaults, but once I performed a factory reset all installation issues disappeared and the installation/configuration completed in minutes. It was giving me an error message that I had no red wire, even though I did, and it was setting the heat temperature even though it is controlling an AC only ducted system. Long story short, as soon as I figured out how to reset the thermostat back to factory defaults, the error message regarding the missing red wire went away, it recognized that the set temperature was for cooling and l was able to finally complete the configuration and I have a brand new looking pretty neat thermostat.

Overpriced

Advert says C wire not needed but Google Support tells me it won’t work. Without a C wire. Couldn’t get it to work at alll.
