I am Asian with naturally black hair and have partial midnight blue highlights on my bangs and around my face. My highlights started fading around my face to a teal and green color. I used the Viral blue shampoo and applied it dry and left it on for 20 minutes. I rinsed and applied the Viral blue conditioner and left that on for 5 minutes and rinsed. Amazingly it worked. My stylist told me this would freshen up my blue highlights as she won't be back for a couple of weeks. It actually worked for me. I was hoping it would get my gray roots but it didn't but I wasn't expecting it to as it only works on already bleached hair. I believe it's a little on the pricey side but if you need this for a quick fix and continued temporary maintenance, it's great, especially before an event. For my gray roots, I'll just cover them with black mascara as that has worked in the past! The picture does this stuff no justice! I accidentally deleted the before pic but the blue around my face faded to a light teal, which looked awesome but I can't have it too light for work. It will only work on already bleached, blonde colored hair!! Love it!

This stuff works! I read reviews that this was a bit drying, so I mixed the conditioner with a hair mask and left it sit for 10 mins. Made sure to give it a thorough rinse with cold water and I’ve had no bleeding/transfer!

I didnt have any pink left in my hair when i tried this... just the bleached highlights, and this color is still bright after a week of regular washing... actually lasted longer than when i got it dyed pink, my hair is dark brown with the highlights for dying pink, my hair dresser actually reccomend this to me and it works amazing. (Just make sure you clean up all the pink from the shower after use so its not stained pink) also wear gloves!

A few things. This product does not stink. In fact it smells good. I have super thick darker hair. This product did work. It was not as dark purple as I wanted but it did work. I had to use it a few times to get a good color stick. It lasted a few weeks. The bad part. It dyed everything. My tub was purple after. And every times I took a shower it left a pink glow to the tub. I used Clorox all purpose cleaner and it came off with no effort after sitting for about 10 minutes. But the pink tint every time I was my hair was the down fall. But I would still do this again. My hair had no damage from the product either.

Love this product. It really does work and well. Just follow the instructions. I use it once a week for the best results to keeping the color in for my highlights. My only recommendation is wear gloves, because it does stain your hands and nails.

Color lasts for more than one shampoo.

This particular color is more brown than I expected but that could have been me misunderstanding the description. The product is thick so you don't need a lot of it, but the thickness also means it is hard to get a good lather going. Overall not one of my favorite color washes, but a reliable one. I prefered the teal color/ brighter/ more vibrant colors from this brand. This color is more dull than I anticipated.

If you have fashion colors or vivids that fade quickly, this wash is worth the investment. It is significantly more pigmented than drugstore color conditioners; one wash actually deposits enough color to refresh the tone visibly. It lathers well and doesn't leave my hair feeling like straw, which is a common issue with other color-depositing shampoos. Warning: It will stain your hands and porous tile grout instantly, so I highly recommend wearing gloves and rinsing your shower walls immediately after use. It’s a messy process, but the color payoff is fantastic.

I purchased this for keeping my hair fresh after having it done in the salon. Its kept my red nice and vibrant. Because of the cost (and how much I need for my hair), I started alternating between using the shampoo & conditioner each day (paired with a colour safe cheaper conditioner/shampoo). Two months after my initial salon appointment and it still looks great. Highly recommend.

Excellent quality touch up between hair sessions. Very vibrant and saves money on frequency of having to re dye. Color lasting and vibrant . Recommend!

Works really well. I would recommend having a separate hair towel unless you want purple towels.
