They lived up to the hype. I've been using one in conjunction with a "normal" sponge to wash dishes, and as far as the scrubbing task goes, it's the best one I've ever used in my life. Greasy, or otherwise difficult food residues come off easy, the shape is great for washing glasses by holding it from the eyes, it doesn't stain easily unlike conventional sponges, it's gentle enough on pans where you need to put some muscle into to avoid scratching, and aggressive enough against food residues that the only thing above it is really a steel/brass sponge which would of course be a no no on non-stick cookware. And yes, the texture change with temperature is very much a thing. While I mostly use it with cold water, if I need to sanitize it and remove any stuck residue, i just boil some water, dunk it in, and it becomes soft and easy to squeeze If used for what it was designed to do, it will outlast several conventional sponges and totally be worth the higher price tag. If I had gone in blindly, I would've complained about the mouth making the sponge a bit flimsy, but I like using it to wash cutlery by squeezing the pieces inside it, and it does an excellent job. If I wanted simple big scrubber, I could've gone for the Big Daddy and call it a day. Overall, I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality, and I very much hope you give the guy making the shorts in the Scrub Daddy youtube channel a promotion

Love scrub Daddy; I have been using them & replacing scrub daddy as needed. Only sponge I use any more. Works great even on my stainless appliances;( scratch free) & dry well. I hang it on the soils dispenser. Best product I’ve seen& used from Shark Tank. I love the smiley face. Very durable.

Scrub daddy is my go to sponge forever now. I use them for everything. My dishes, my kitchen sink , my bathroom. They don't scratch . They clean. Dry out fast. I don't feel like they hold moisture which could lead to mold. No mold ever. They don't hold a smell like other sponges I've used. Love SCRUB DADDY. Highly recommend. Great product at a great price point

These are the only scrub sponges I'll use now. They are soft when you use hot water, and firmer when your water or cleaning product is cool. They clean like greased lightning, with very little effort - especially with hot liquid. They won't fall apart, no matter what. AND, these things will not grow mold or mildew. You can't go wrong buying these. They're a little expensive - and worth your investment, because you'll be using them for a long, long, time.

Both scrub daddy and scrub mommy are the best sponges ever made. I've always hated the way sponges need to be replaced every week due to their musty gross smell they start to have after using it. I've never had an issue with scrub daddy products smelling after use. They're a bit pricy but one sponge lasts a little over a month of daily use (sometimes 4-5 times a day of scrubbing dishes). I like to use these in the bathroom, kitchen counters, scrubbing the floors, everything. They don't scratch and they get up dirt and grime by themselves amazingly. Their power only strengthens when you add cleaner to them. I bought some for my brother so he could experience their greatness. I will never go back to using regular sponges ever again. Scrub daddy for life!

Love my scrub daddies! No smell last at least a month with daily dishes

A gentleman who installs shower doors recommended this product for cleaning our glass and cultured marble surfaces. When it arrived, I instantly recognized the material as the same expanded polyethylene(?) open cell foam as found in the smaller dish sponges we were buying. At $4 each, I expected something more. They perform OK but I'm not bowled over The open cell plastic doesn't hold water. When dry they are very stiff but inexplicably soften with water and use. The dish scrubbies we have bought previously from another vendor/ maker gradually tear into little shreds of plastic but do hold up pretty well overall. I expect these to do the same but the smiley face cut into them won't help their durability any. Bottom line: they work OK but aren't that special for the price. You can get the same type of product cheaper. elsewhere. ________________ UPDATE: These sponges do eventually shred especially if you use abrasive cleaners with them. They cost about 3X what I was paying for the dish scrubbers we were using previously. They may be very slightly denser, but certainly not worth the price.

Excellent sponge for most surfaces - exception cast iron. Large sponge that cleans well and last a long time. This is a large sponge - consider ordering "SunnyPoint NeverRust Kitchen Sink Suction Holder". This holder has good suction and is large enough for a Scrub Daddy sponge. Sunny Point is worth the $9.99 price.
