**Q: Can this be hard wired?**
A: This light is a hardwired, low voltage light. It uses Philips low voltage cabling, which has a type of twist lock ends, so no splices if that is your question. I hope that answers your question.

**Q: Is the metal shield available in other colors? Could it be painted a different color other than black?**
A: Only black.  I don't see any reason you could not paint it... but the paint will not be as durable as the black powdercoat it comes with.

**Q: Would this work as a garage workstation light?**
A: No, it lacks a switch.  You could use an external switch, but it would still be too dim and way to expensive.  Just get a 4ft LED shop light.

**Q: Does this come with a power supply?**
A: No.
