Useful, and moderately comfortable.
I took this on a trip to Europe from the US, and we took a red-eye flight. The material is soft enough. The ridges on the seams can be uncomfortable if they poke your skin, so I had to move it around quite a bit, but once I found a good position, it was terrific. The smaller pillow portion inflates separately, so if it isn't useful, you don't have to inflate it (which is good, because it pushes your head too far forward if you are only semi-reclined in an airplane seat. It is super easy to inflate and deflate and added to the comfort of the flight. (I bought one for my son also, and he found it annoying to put around his neck, but just used it as a pillow against the plane window.)

I liked this pillow when it was working
I liked this pillow when it was working, but unfortunately after less than 10 uses, it now has a hole in it and won't stay inflated for longer than 5 minutes. I tried patching it but it's right on the seam. The seams of this pillow make it a little rough at times, but when properly inflated, it's very supportive for the neck and I love the convenience of deflating it for saving space.

Did I sleep? Indeed I did!
What a strange little pillow! I've always had trouble sleeping on flights because my head immediately starts drooping forward - soon i'm snoring loudly until I just cant breathe, and I snort awake, once again. A real ongoing treat altogether for everyone seated nearby. I found when I put the horse-shoe shaped travel pillows around my neck "backwards" (open side at rear), and that props my head up nicely, allowing me to sleep. But the big foam or bead-filled pillows tend to slide down gradually, needing periodic readjustment, and also for sure take up way way too much room in my travel bag, So, ENTER THE BRU JOY PILLOW! I experimented with the inflation amount of both the primary and the teensy pillow and found leaving them both slightly soft allowed comfort for my personal contours, AND eliminated any sliding. Remember, I'm wearing the pillow adjusted "backwards", so the teensy pillow sits under my chin, keeping my mouth closed--no snoring and no drooling!! This past holiday I used the Bru Joy pillow and a very comfortable sleep mask, as well ( a first for me) and I was able to sleep for hours during my long flights. Only complaint is my neck got sweaty. The pillow is vinyl plastic, coated with a suede-like finish, but doesn't allow any "breathing room" and plane was overheated. Next time I travel I'll have a cotton hanky or small piece of flannel with my pillow to provide a little absorbent layer for my neck. That's it . Very minor complaint that's easily remedied. Five Stars all the way for this little inexpensive gem!!!

Wasted our Money....
We found these to be very uncomfortable and too tight around the neck for both my husband and myself ( and I have a small neck ). They wrapped tightly around the neck and the flap then came up and rubbed on my face. We tried less air in them but it did not cure the issue. We stopped in an airport shop and bought two pillows like they sell in every single airport I've been in. After a 10 hour flight those proved to be comfortable. Wish we hadn't wasted our money on two of these.

Pillow works well
We bought 2 of these pillows for use on an overnight flight. We tested them at home in our recliner and they worked very well for us. They held our heads in a comfortable position and we were able to nap easily and comfortably with them. Unfortunately, they didn't help us sleep on the plane. There was no problem with the pillows, but we were not able to sleep well on the flight, through no fault of the pillow. The airplane seats just aren't as comfortable as our recliner. However, we would still recommend them and will try to use them on future long flights.

Good for multiple uses
This travel pillow has a great shape with a unique head rest. I actually use it to give massages at a table and on a bed, but I would assume that it would be very helpful as a travel pillow too! Two issues. The velvetized texture is not very amenable to rapid disinfection, e.g. with a wipe. And, the two chambers can be difficult to inflate because the one-way valves can be picky. This pillow stows nicely in the provided vinyl bag.

A Convenient User-Friendly Travel Pillow
The pillow appears to be sturdy and includes a small separately-inflatable head rest - a convenience not always found on travel pillows. It allows you to inflate the main neck portion to one comfort level and the head rest to a different comfort level - so you can have firm support for your neck if you want but a softer inflation level for the head rest...this should allow for different neck sizes and head/neck distances. The pillow was easy to inflate...however, the true test of this type of inflatable item is...how easy is it to deflate and store? So many inflatable items are such that once inflated, trying to get all the air out afterward for storage is a real challenge. Happy to say that deflating it was simple and allowed it to be folded and re-inserted into it's storage package...in fact, it came with two storage pouches - the original product package itself, and a slightly smaller, felt-like storage container...either could be used if one wears out or is damaged. Also included was an insert that provided tips on the pillow's inflation/deflation which if followed will allow full deflation and storage.

Do Not Buy
This is one of the most ridiculous and useless things I've ever bought. It's extremely light and flimsy, and so loose around your neck that even when fully inflated it's incapable of providing ANY support. The little pillow attached to the top is also totally useless other than appealing to a five year old girl who would think it's cute. It's also hard to blow up, and yes, I know that you have to squeeze the valve. But unless you do this just right, you're squeezing the valve too much so you can't inflate it. And the valve is so short, you can barely squeeze it and inflate it at the same time. And if all this isn't enough, the covering over the plastic shell is extremely thin so that it's about as comfortable around your neck as a piece of paper. I had a more conventional one in the past which worked well, but unfortunately bought this one because of the reviews, which are hard to believe now that I've got one of these things.
