How do I connect this to a pc?

You need to have some sort of interface which coincides with the DAW you are utilizing. Focus rite or universal audio units are popular, but there are countless ones that work just as well based on personal preference and budget. Hook up via XLR cable and you’re good to go. No need for phantom power because the tube mic comes with its on preamp.

I bought a used k2 here and the cardio pattern does not work! if i put it in omni, then the back of the mic picks up. anyone seen this? lemon?

Sounds like a fault to me....They are built like a tank so try and swop the power supply to see if that is the problem.

Is this a large diaphragm microphone?

Yes, this is a large diaphragm condenser. It has it's own power supply, so it doesn't require phantom power. I believe it is a C12 type of capsule.
