Gave 5 rating because i admired the way of presenting the concepts by the author , book was certainly a delight and kept me hooked , read the whole book in just 2 sitting, the ending was pretty hilarious and caught me by surprise , overall concepts like trading psychology and discipline have been explained in a very simple and easy to grasp manner , liked this one a lot.

Although it was a nice book, many things could have been said to the point. I was happy by the ending climax even more than that trading knowledge.

I can relate myself to the new trader,this book looks like every new trader reality so all must go through this.

I have been a trader for 5+ years, followed different strategies and systems but Steve's knowledge and experience is beyond anything I have seen or read. I wish I came across these book earlier in my trading career, I would have cut my learning time and bad experiences by a significant amount. Getting into trading, without reading all these books is waste of time and will get into bad habits which would be hard to overcome. Steve is the most knowledge, yet Generous Trader who as articulated the psychological aspect of the trading in these books. While, I am trading day in and out, my Dad (over legal retirement age) was so upset over me in trading business because of the risk involved. I got him these books and God, after reading all of them, he has a different opinion now and thanks to Steve, we discuss the strategies and risk management together which is helping me build a better trading system. I enjoyed and appreciated the book for its straight forward objectives. He hammered home the importance of achieving all three. Developing long term success in the markets trading or becoming consistently profitable depends on these three areas more than I realized initially. New Trader Rich Trader2 was a somewhat unique book in that its a story that covers the psychology in the journey of profitable trading. An analogy with poker might be that anyone with money can play. Knowing how to play without losing all of your money certainly makes things more enjoyable and repeatable. One should at least be familiar with some of the strategies of the most successful players so you do not lose all of your money! I enjoyed this site so much that I bought both of these new trader rich trader books. This author actually has things to say that I found worthwhile and helpful(profitable) without actually recommending specific buys or sells! This book is great for including all the core concepts all traders must understand. I've read the other reviews and they're right in that this book seems redundant compared to what's out there but Steve does a great job neatly summarising all the important trading concepts into one neat little book. This should be a must read for all beginning traders and traders looking to rehash forgotten core principles. The reason I gave it 4 stars is bc although the explanations are correct, it's lacking depth (more detailed explanation). An in depth explanation would have contrasted the style of this book as its a light read, PACKED with all the basics of trading. I recommend 'trading in the zone by mark douglas' for depth. This book is fantastic and I recommend it to all traders. Its not a long read but it really helps hammer home concepts that we, as humans, will always forget.
