Customer needed their new fixture to dusk to dawn. This fit the bill perfectly and works great so far.

Did not like options for portch lights at local Menards, so purchased light I did like, and 60 watt equivalent bulbs (8-10 watts) and ordered this to make it a dusk to dawn.Wired up easy, and remote sensor means it fit easily in small housing. Unit is tucked into electrical box. Easy to setup.I usually turn off switch as I head to bed, and turn on again leaving for work, light comes on and few seconds later goes off. Then is on when I get home that night.Worked wrll for me and was only one with remote photo sensor option.

Unit works just fine. Had an old light fixture with photoeye that typical controls won't fit. With the "remote" sensor of this unit, wasn't hard to replace and get dusk-to-dawn function working again.

Drill a small hole - 3?8" and slide sensor through, then a plastic nut secures to fixture. Works well, hardly noticeable on exterior of fixture if mounted correctly. Nice product, have installed 8 of these and only one failed, I put a dab of silicone on the base of threads so when it is installed the switch becomes waterproof

It does not work... First one came with broken mounting tab and without the retainer nut. Installed the exchanged one, turn the switch on, the light turn on for a few second then off... tightly covered the photocell but the light won't turn on again. RETURNED !!!

Remote sensor is small which allows installation in cramped quarters. Switch also small and easy to place. Allowed me to convert an antique brass porch light to flawless dusk/dawn operation where a smart bulb would not work. Inconspicuous. Weatherproof sealed sensor and switch construction. UL listed. Rated for ~4000 on/off cycles. Highly recommended-a problem solver.

I added this photo cell to a light fixture on my pole barn where I needed it to come on at dusk and go off at dawn and I didn't want to change out the fixture. It worked perfectly!!! I took down the fixture, drilled a small hole on the side of the base and installed the light sensor through the hole. I then wired the fixture per the directions and reinstalled the fixture. The whole install took me about 20 minutes from start to finish. I highly recommend this product.

Worked great for a year and a half. Now it turns the light on for an hour or so and then shuts off. I hard wired light and the light stays on all night. Would not buy again.

Perfect for my needs, but only lasted three months then switch failed. The first one I purchased has lasted two years so far. Just bad luck I suppose. Wanted to buy a replacement , but now currently unavailable on Amazon.
