Q: Can it be used for doors that are 30 inches?

Can't tell whether your question has to do with weather stripping or a glass bead stuffed dog draft dodger. The picture implies the product is the stuffed dog, but the text refers to "weatherstripping". Tip to tip, the draft dog actually measures 35", so for a 30" door there'd be an overhang of 5" (total) to make up. If your door opening is finished with typical 2 3/8" moldings on each side, that would seem to be enough to make up the 5"difference. If you have a real dog, you may have to make sure it doesn't treat the product as a chew toy...because of the glass beads. But if the product you're inquiring about is truly weather-stripping, it could always be cut to size, although some new holes will likely have to be drilled at the ends. Either way, nice item. finished with 2x3/8" moldings to the left and right...that would seem enough to make up the 5" difference. Sure is cute!

Q: What are the washing instructions for this item?

There is no washing instruction tag on it, so I think spot clean only. Or wipe down with non-bleach cleaning wipes. That's what I do with other draft stoppers. Haven't had to clean this one yet.

No it doesn’t attach, you lay it in front of the door.

It's very flexible. Can be pushed along the doors very easily.
