Charges and allows me to listen to music which was my main reason for the order. Does not work with all iPhone options but that's Apple's fault for delaying the release of the AirPods. Thanks Silas for giving me an alternative option in the interim.

a lot of distortion and noise in the earphones all the time.sometimes it stops working and sound start coming out of the phone & i have to unplug it and re-plug again or wiggle it to work again.i noticed that charging is much slower even if i am not watching a video or listening to any music.also noticed that it drains my battery just by being plugged to the phone even if it is not being used.i tried returning it and the company kept asking me questions about what i think and why i want to return, but the amazon guys were so nice and refunded my money when i complained to them.

UPDATE: I've had these adapters for almost two months now and they seem to wear out very quickly. I've had some frustration with with two things. 1) The iphone takes a long time to recognize the connection and even though it is plugged in you should not assume your phone is charging. 2) Poor audio quality because the 3.5mm socket does not seem to fit correctly. At this point I am using only the Belkin adapter because it is easier and faster to use in a car and it works consistently.ORIGINAL REVIEW: About the adapter, The size is great, it is compact and compared to some other adapters (Belkin's Lightning Audio + Charge Rockstar), it is very streamlined and the price point is great. --- Quality control seems to be an issue because other reviews have noted that only one audio channel works. I experienced this with the first one I ordered but the other two are just fine. I tested the adapters with earbuds and with two aux cables going into my car radio. I had the same experience consistently with each adapter; if it worked it worked and if it only played one channel it did not play on either aux cable or earbuds. --- Sizes are also a little strange: one adapter had a larger male plug, one adapter has a longer audio cable than the other two, one adapter is not stamped SOKAD, and cable diameter varies. --- Occasionally the iPhone does not recognize the adapter. The non-recognition seems to be easy to clear and can be done by closing out the app you are listening to and restarting the app. --- The adapter is only for audio out. Buttons on the Apple earbuds do not work and it does not recognize the microphone. --- Since this adapter has a 3.5mm audio socket it is not necessary to use Apple's 3.5mm-to-Lightning adapter. It is just a little different than the Belkin. --- This adapter may show up on your iPhone as either "USB2.0 Device" or as "CD002" but the Belkin just shows "Headphones" and is more integrated.A huge plus was my interaction with SOKAD. When I contacted SOKAD about the first adapter not working, they were very gracious and refunded my money immediately. This was great but I would have also accepted a replacement. It was so easy that I was willing to try again and bought the other two adapters. Another big plus is that the first time I ordered the adapter shipped from China but the second order was available for Prime 2-day shippping.

Works as described. It charges as well as passes music. Been using a couple weeks with no problems. I have 2 and they both are working as expected. The description says does not support phone calls. And it works just as desribed. I like it.

We use this on my iPhone 7plus and husbands iPhone 6s and it only works about 25% of the time. The headphone part works most of the time but the charger almost never does. If I hold the phone and wiggle the charger it makes a connection but then if I let go it stops chargingReally want this to work because we travel for a living and really need it but will be looking for another option. I will contact them to see if they can replace it.

Worked great. I was able to listen to music and charge at the sometime but fair warning, you cannot use your headphone during a phone call while charging.

This product doesn't function to charge and play music via aux cord. When doing both a loud hum, buzz, reverb was the only sound you get.Super disappointing as it is the only function this product was designed for.I hate the cord, charger and earbud/aux cord situation of the iPhone 7

This was perfect for about 3 months.It soon shorted out and would not play through the AUX on my stereo or charge. I was a little disappointed in the performance. I bought it specifically so I could listen to music on a long road trip, and charge my phone.I am sure there's a better solution than this. I wouldn't waste your money.
