Alien Alert!
What happens when a 3 mile long space ship crash lands in a populated area of the USA? How do you handle the disaster it caused in your city and country? How do you handle and deal with thousands of aliens? This story is told from the viewpoint of a teenager who's father works for NASA. I found myself asking those questions and thinking about the way the author handled it.I enjoyed the book very much. This is written for teenagers and up. It does make brief reference to suicide, murder, and reproduction both human and alien. I probably wouldn't recommend it for younger than 12 years old or anyone hypersensitive to the mention of those things.

short book but good
i thought this book really could have been longer but enjoyed the story . Some ideas in the story were familiar when it came to the aliens but there were enough new ones to keep you reading.

Great Read Plus Culture
This book was a quick, fun read. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and story. The only thing I wanted more of was descriptions - of huge alien ships, the aliens themselves, and the observations and thoughts of the main character, which sometimes seemed a bit shallow. (Then again, perhaps this was just her character) My favorite parts were the highlights into the Native American culture (AWESOME that the main character is half Navajo). So refreshing to read clean, straightforward YA literature that offers the reader not only a fun story involving aliens, but also a look into other traditions that one may not know much about. Thanks for a great book, Wells.

So, so good!
This may be Robison Wells' best book yet. Such a fresh, original take on aliens, told from a female perspective with heart and humor. Twists and turns I didn't see coming, parts I loud out loud at, and suspense that kept me turning pages--and I'm not even the target audience!

OK read!
I liked this book, it was an easy, clean, fast paced book to read. The story line was interesting and it kept me engaged. I was disappointed in the ending because it left some issues unresolved. All in all it was an OK book.

An original take on the "stranded aliens" story
The main character is interesting, and I enjoyed learning more about her heritage throughout the book. Some of the other characters felt a little flat, and I thought the book was perhaps a few pages shorter than it should have been. You can read my full review on MySF Reviews.

Aliens without too much romance
The plot twists about the aliens really keep you on your toes and I really enjoyed learning more about Native American culture
