Astro Pneumatic Tool 1111A ONYX 1/4" Palm Ratchet Wrench

So far I am impressed with the quality and power of this little fella. A little louder than my old one which was almost twice as long.

This is far and away the most powerful 1/4" air ratchet I have ever owned. I haven't owned it long, but so far so good. As others have mentioned, it's a bit noisy, but most of the more powerful (smaller 1/4") air ratchets are. It's not insanely loud...it's just louder than some others I've purchased in the past. Bottom line, it's very strong, lightweight, and tiny which (if you are a tech like me) you know is super important when working in tight engine bays. Best little 1/4" air ratchet I've ever bought.

Cheap and works well, pretty good for tight spots on modern cars. Not a tone of power you are definitely going to have to break anything larger that about an 8mm head free with a ratchet first but that's no big deal for the price

I'm a mechanic, and wanted a micro ratchet for rear crossover coolant manifolds. Since arrival, I've used it for several other low clearance tight space torx applications, and it has not disappointed. Saved me 1.5 to 2 hours on some jobs. Update (june 3, 2025): I have been using this tool, in combination with a magnetic 1/4 inch socket, to remove A/C line torx screws at the dead center of bulkheads. I pull many dashboards on modern luxury/performance vehicles, so there is very little clearance in that area, and removing these lines is a chore for everyone. Using this to remove and fasten those lines has cut hours out of the job. The downside is that this tool has very little trigger control, and it starts moving at around 10 ft/lbs with quite a bit of speed. I've gotten used to it, but you can easily strip the threading on soft materials, like aluminum. So in those cases, you need to be careful and patient, adjust air pressure with a regulator, or not do it.
