Okay so its winter here and I have not tried these just yet but on a weight point of view these are worth the price. My current hammock I carry is some Chinese made company (Guzon) and came with thick ropes for tying that snagged on everything, the hammock itself had these metal carabiners clips i wrapped in duct tape to make sure the pins don't rip my hammock.The aluminum carabiners clips in this set alone was a worthwhile upgrade (Be sure to look for Dyneema Hammock Continuous loops, helps to shed weight even with this cheap hammock)Now the straps look so much better than that god awful rope, the stitching is excellent.I'll do a follow up to this review when summer hits.

Very nice set of hammock straps. Easy to use and plenty of adjustability. The extra clips are fairly lightweight but a nice bonus, used them to hold the extra length of strap back out of the way & off the ground.

Nice straps - but didn't come with the promised carabiners. Quality of the product is excellent.Seller was really nice and got back to me within 10min to issue a partial refund.

I was looking for some hammock straps to replace the short and difficult to use ropes that came with my hammock. The straps seemed like the way to go, but I didn't want to pay the price that the outdoor specialty stores were asking. These were an amazing find and a fantastic purchase. I compared them to the ENO straps that would pair with my Doublenest hammock and these seem to be the same size and weight in the bag. I chose these over ones with extra fabric on the the loops because they are much easier to roll up. The added carabiners sealed the deal, as they are lighter and have no rough edges to hurt the hammock when storing it. Buying these new would have been an extra $6-$8 each so that almost pays for the price of this set buy itself. I've used these a few times and am really glad that I purchased them. I did get a discounted rate for me to write a review, but the price point is what I was going to spend anyway, and the results are just what I was hoping for. I've had these on the porch and the beach but can't wait to go camping...my set up time and overall pack weight are going to be amazing! The 10 foot length is a great size that will really allow me some more options that my 6 foot ropes forced me to ignore during setup.

A couple of them only came with a small bit of rope for hanging. In some cases this is good, but I wanted something a bit more flexible to use if trees are not so close together. So I found these straps and wanted to give them a try. Pros:    • Heavy duty straps • Strong eye • Very good stitching • Much safer for trees • Lightweight Carabiners • No stretching • Carry pouch • Each strap about 10' in length   Cons:  NoneThese straps are very strong. They wrap around the tree flat so they do not scar the tree. Using rope tends to scar the tree and leave a mark. The straps come in a carry pouch so they do not flop around in my pack. They weight about 12 oz, so they are a bit heavier than rope. But they are much more effective. So the weight difference is justified to me. The clips and eye are very strong stainless metal. They will not rust. These straps do not stretch and are very well stitched. Overall, I am very pleased with these straps.

Nice tree strap set. The strap stitching are comparable to more expensive straps. I tested these traps by climbing a tree with my tree stand while getting ready for hunting season. They work awesome. "Yes I was wearing a harness".These straps are not my permanent tree stand straps, just to be clear. but I would be fine with using them and did not feel unsafe at any moment. When using them with my hammock, they stayed strong and didnt get any noticeable sag from the straps.ProsStrong stitched very wellgood price rangeno noticeable wear on them after useconsnone at this time.I received a discount to give my honest opinion of this product.

Great set of tree straps and carabiners. I've gotten them for gifts for friends and family. They like them. Will be purchasing more. Great price for a great set.
