I wanted a dirndl for an Oktoberfest party, without going down the 'foxy serving wench' route. This is perfect! It is well-made, with a separate blouse, dirndl dress and apron. The embroidery adds a pretty touch.I'm 5'7" and the hem just reaches my knee. I took the advice of previous reviews by adding a broderie anglaise petticoat (mine is 55cm long). I'm glad I did so, it fills out the skirt and adds a visible pretty under-frill of around 1-1.5 cm to the overall ensemble.Sizing: according to the size guide, I'm in between a Medium and a Large (in most stores I take a Medium). I ordered the Medium. The waist fits well, the bust is just okay (a little tight, but not so that I can't breathe!).

I ordered the biggest size available but sadly would not fit around my chest despite my chest being within the measurements stated, I cannot afford another dress and it's for an event so I've had to wear a tank top underneath and safety pin it to the tank top. It is nice quality though, just a shame it doesn't fit.

This is the best fancy dress costume I have ever bought - it is also the most expensive one I have ever bought!I got a XL first but it was too snug so exchanged for a xxl. I would say I’m a size 14 to 16. The xxl fits perfectly and actually looks quite flattering. The material is good quality however I’m going to be super careful with the zip as it looks very delicate.I can’t wait to go to an Oktoberfest night next weekend in this outfit.

Sizes very inaccurate- i am a 12-14 i purchased a 16-18 too small

The quality was excellent, the material is soft and fit was perfect. I got so many compliments and people surprised that I’d got it from Amazon.

Fit is fine uk average sizing. Quality of black dress could be a little better but considering it has 3 parts to the outfit it’s fine. Used for Oktoberfest and will last for the next one.
