These are a must have for a museum like way to hang art. Our old home has the proper railing so it’s great.

Easy to use

I live in an apartment in an old building. Sadly many of the rooms have drop ceilings. I wanted to hang some photos and prints on my ugly bare walls so this I found suited my needs.The metal tabs that slide over the edge of the drop ceiling rails is perfect. They give plenty of wire, which you can definitely cut shorter with scissors if you work at it for a minute.I love the concept of the hooks that have the little button to easily raise and lower up and down the wire, making adjusting the height of your wall art super easy.My biggest gripe, or nitpick, is that those adjustable hooks are quite big and thick. Now this is good if you’re hanging larger, heavier, framed art. But not everything I wanted to hang was framed or heavy. This set can definitely support some weight, so they are durable for sure. But on a standard movie size one sheet frame poster, I still found it hard to connect the hook to the options on the back of the frame. You almost need some other connector to hook these to. Which there are no options provided in this kit.For my large paper board prints of my own photos I had to purchase some adhesive back hooks (little triangles like you’d see on picture frames for hanging), and I’m hoping that will solve this problem.Again, it’s a good set but there may be some work arounds needed.

I usually sell at conventions indoors. Because of COVID, I had to transition to selling at arts markets. Because I sell mostly paper, I had to set up a tent with all three walls, anchor it with heavy weights, and use gridwall for my products.The gridwall legs were useless and I needed the gridwall to hang from the tent to support the walls.These did the job for 6' x 2' grid wall panels! For reference, these things weigh about 10+ pounds each.One wire will hold one grid wall, but it would rotate when the wind blew. So, I used two per gridwall and it worked.I looped the wire around the tent beam and through itself, put on the hook clip, and then clipped it to the left most part of the gridwall. I did this on the right and left corners, making it taut. This prevented the tent from having that "breathing" effect in higher winds. It also enabled me to hang more art on the walls of my tent using gridwall hooks.Some of the wires bent a little, but they still work.Better than S hooks and easier and more cost effective than zip ties.They're lightweight, too. So, if you have to travel with them, they won't weigh your checked bags down too much. Although, TSA did stop me when they were in my carry on because it was so much metal!Absolutely fantastic product. Very happy. Great value for the money!

Perfect. Handled my framed art easily and stays put.

I purchased it for my new house but by the time we moved and tried to hang put paintings it was too late to return this item... what a waste. They not only don't fit on my picture hanging rails but I tried them in my historic neighborhood on several of the neighbors houses and they just don't work anywhere... got one kind of pushed in but the painting floundered as the ridiculous hooks are huge and heavy, tilting your artwork far forward, offbalance with the huge and heavy hook...anyway, even the hook does not stay where it is placed... can't believe this company would not allow me to return something so defective.

I just bought an old house with built-in picture rails. A friend said I should try them out to hang some of my pictures. I couldn't find any hooks locally, so I picked these up on Amazon and they work great. They hooked right into the rail and held several of my pictures up. It actually looks pretty cool. They were easy to use and I'm planning on getting another set to hang a few more up this way including a couple of canvases. I'd recommend if you have the old-fashioned picture rails and picture frames with a wire on back.

The title says that the cord is invisible, hence I thought it would be transparent at least but it’s not. It is metal and not what I expected.
