Well made
The design is unbelievably comfortable and fictional! The freedom of movement and ability to shift positions, has increased the quality of my day, my work and my back. It’s well made and sturdy. It’s one of the best purchases I’ve ever made.If you constantly squirm, stretch and ache in a regular office chair… GET THIS CHAIR

I’m glad this exists!
I really like this chair! Before this, i used a Herman Miller Aeron chair. It was basically the creme de la creme of standard office chairs, but i was restless sitting in that posture all day and developed a kind of awkward and asymmetrical weakness in my legs.I’ve only been using this chair for a couple weeks and I have to admit it’s been an adjustment, but I’ve grown to be pretty fond of it. I love the ability to sit in different positions, and i find that it’s been easier to sit still and focus in this chair. The materials and construction are reasonable considering the price, but I wouldn’t mind paying $300 for this chair if they improved the padding material to something maybe a little more firm on the zafu-like, stool portion of the chair.I have a relatively nice Samaya zafu and pillow meditation set, which is my main point of comparison - and i can say this chair is not as comfortable as a buckwheat zafu and quality cotton pillow. I tried putting my Samaya meditation set on top of the chair and it was a little awkward. This chair is still pretty comfortable though, and i can understand why the design decisions that were made were made.Ultimately, after getting the seat set to the right height, i have found this chair totally sufficient. I just wish there was a slightly higher quality foam used.Edit: Months later and no changes to the comments made in the original post, but i feel it is pertinent to mention that I do use this with a sit-stand desk. As others have mentioned, you will sit too high in this chair for most standard height tabletops. It’s not an issue with a sit-stand desk though.

Hurts my back and knees
I bought this by recommendation for helping with my back pain, but after a week of use my back and knees hurt. I tried adjusting the height of the seat but it didn't help. The seat is also very uncomfortable. I think the primary reason for my back pain is that the chair can't be lowered enough for me to sit up straight at my desk so I end up hunched over. With the seat at its highest, I experience less knee pain but more back pain so it's just a tough situation.

Good but could be better!
Overall it’s a good product for $200 but there is definitely stuff that needs to be modified and other requirements before purchasing. The chair is great for me because I do get restless sitting in the same position all day long and I love sitting cross legged which is difficult to do when you have a normal chair. I also feel like my posture is 20 times better now that I use it.The issues with the chair don’t go unnoticed though. The raised seat portion that comes up from the middle of the chair is super uncomfortable. It has, at the most, a half inch (that’s 0.5 inches) of memory foam glued to it and that’s it. It feels like you just set a beach towel down on a plank of wood and you are expected to sit on it for 8 hours. I will be buying and shaping a thicker memory foam cushion to sit on while I use this chair but my advice is don’t get rid of your other chair because you will need to give your butt a break. Also something to keep in mind is this chair is very high even at its lowest setting and I would recommend you have a sit/stand desk of some kind before buying this.Good but could be better.

Great for therapy
I ordered this after debating for some time between this one and another style with a back on it. I wanted the back for support but liked the base size and shape of this one better for crossing legs. Plus this was half the price. It does take a learning curve and some adjustment to get the right set up but ultimately gives you the freedom to actually move around while sitting for long periods of time. I’m 5’2” and 145, I keep the chair all the way down and use my standing seat from Costco to work with the height. Since I’m sitting for 6 hours a day, I needed something different for my hips and legs. So far so good! Padding on the small sitting stool isn’t great, but you don’t notice it much if you’re moving around.

Seat Cushion Lacking
I like the concept of this chair, but you definitely get what you pay for. I’ve had it for about 8 or 9 months now and the foam on the seat is so compressed it’s almost unusable. It’s like squat/sitting in a park bench and my hips and back have started to ache. As a disclaimer - I weight about 150 and don’t use the chair for a constant eight hour work day. I have a standing desk and a walking pad, so I alternate sitting and standing and it’s still completely flattened and painful. I’m having to upgrade to a better quality chair.

Love the concept put padding is lacking
I have been using the chair for two days for long days. Love the fact I sit up straighter and upper and lower back pain is gone. However the padding on the top seat is lacking. Feels too much like a bicycle seat padding so my sit bones hurt
