Q: How “fat” is ghe largest compartment? Essentially, how many 12-ounce cans if pop would fit in it?

I haven’t tried to put cans in it but 1 for sure. I’m not sure a second would fit. I use mine for search and rescue or horse riding. They do sell a backpack hydration system if that’s something that would work for you.

Q: Will a glock 26 fit in this bag?

Q: Will this bag be good to hold a camera and at least one lens?

It really will depend on the size of the camera. If you were to use one sized similar to the old disposable cameras like Fuji etc, then yes it would fit that and a lens of similar dimensions. The outer pouch on top would hold a snickers bar. the front pouch does not have a lot of give to it but could hold a disposable camera sized object. the inner pouch could also hold one but they may stack awkwardly at best.
