Grabs and holds on pretty well - almost ten years on an unstable substrate.
I bought this a few years ago as a temporary fix on the skylight in my office. I set the new pieces of glass with it in 2007 and am just now resetting the entire bank of windows. The piece set with this ten years ago was just kind of jammed in with tons of this caulk until I could get around to making all the stained glass I needed. But this week when I went to tear it out it was still holding well against multiple layers of other broken glass, tar paper from previous roofs, and any number of other tiny debris that had managed to work its way in. It was ten years old and wasn't used in anything close to ideal circumstances and it was really difficult to break the seal. These skylights are far from ideal either - they are the steel framed industrial skylights that one finds in early 20th century buildings that are KNOWN for leaking. But this stuff really holds well through the Chicago seasons and just does a great job. I finished the stained glass and am now installing them properly with this caulk and am still just as thrilled as I was before. It doesn't dry *entirely* clear, however. It isn't glassy clear, but cloudy clear. It does blend well with whatever color is against it though. Will use it to replace other skylights as I redo them. I included some images so you can see the color of the bead of caulk and the word application. Just great stuff.

Product Worked Well on Concrete
I bought one tube of this silicon in Home Depot and the project extended up requiring more than one. Ordered two more on Amazon and what arrived was exactly the same as the one purchased in-store. I used this to seal cracks in a cinderblock foundation and cement floor in an unfinished basement with no heating/cooling. The product adhered well and looks like it should hold up well over time. The color is stated is light grey, and it is VERY light grey. In a basement the aesthetic doesn't matter much, but if you're using it elsewhere it might be worth noting.

The silicone caulk you want
You do need the “gun “ to apply this. It goes on evenly and forms a flexible seal. I saw a negative review saying it’s hard to remove after 30 years. That’s why I bought it. What else do you have that works 30 years?

It was as expected.
Not easy to put without the use of gun. It popped opened the back side of the cap so after one use in small area, it became unusable as there’s is no way to safe with the opened cap from the end. The tip cannot be closed either so it dried up easily.

Good product but I don't like the color
Sealant works great, it's relatively easy to work with as far as silicone sealants go. It seals well and dries just the way you want it to. My only problem is the color, they call is gray but it's definitely not what I had in mind, I was expecting it to be much darker, but the gray ended up being on the lighter side, they really should differentiate light gray vs dark gray. The color that comes put is a very uncommon looking color that will most likely not match anything you own if you're trying to color match. Other than that, it's a good product.
