Is it a paste or a powder?

It is a paste and it's so delicious. Makes the best broth or whatever else you can think to use it in!!! I highly recommend! Needs to be refrigerated, however will last a year.

What is the carb content per serving? What are all the ingredients? I need to read labels for health reasons - can't have sugar at all in any form

On the product label: Total carb 2g. Sugars less than 1g. Protein less than 1g. Total fat 1.0g. Cholesterol less than 5 mg. Sodium 750mg. That is "per serving size" = 3/4 tsp which makes 1 cup prepared.

If I order today, what will the best by date be?

I always refrigerate and keep capped when not in use. I also always use a clean spoon to remove the product. I have had the base become a tad dry, but a teaspoon of tap water fixed the problem. With all that said, I have never experienced the product going bad. My thinking is that the salt base of the product acts as a really good preservative.

How many ml are in the 16 oz?

For future reference, enter the following text in Google search and it will tell you exactly how many ml. "how many ml in 16 ounces" The answer for now is 473.176 ml.

Tastes great, perfect for soups, stews and beans, I use it in just about everything that needs chicken flavor, this is my favorite, way better than the powder stuff, I make chicken ton ton soup in minutes with this soup base, very flavorful, also use it in Curry for extra chicken flavor, it is very versatile in all sorts of recipes, 1 teaspoon to a cup of water is perfect for soup.

Great chicken flavor without a ton of chemicals!

I was looking for a chicken flavoring that was not full of chemicals but had a good flavor. This turned out to be a winner! Mostly real ingredients, and lends a nice chickeny flavor to soups, pot pies, and pilafs. It seems to keep fresh a very long time in the fridge, too. love it!

Great product!

All my chef friends use this product so I thought I would try it. It has a ton of flavor and not an overpowering salt flavor. Great choice for stocks. I would use any of their flavors for sure if you need a good stock!

Very good. Better than the other brands. I use the beef and chicken all the time. Some might complain that the container is bigger than the BTB brand.If you cook, Minors is full proof.YMMV

Flavorful and goes a long way

My mom turned me into this vegetable base and when I ran out of the one she gave me. I was happy to find it on Amazon. It’s lower salt than a lot of the bases similar to this one. And you only need a small amount to go a long way.
