I have only used it to drive a couple dozen brads so far, but works well and so far no jams. Review: Outstanding Quality & Price - 4th Metabo HPT Power Tool. 1st was a Framing Nailer and this tool was amazing, especially for the price. 2nd was this Pin Nailer quality/ price outstanding. Cordless Brushless Driver Drill & Impact Driver combo kit, again great quality/price. Most recent purchase was a Cordless Reciprocating Saw, another great power tool for an exceptional price. Was not sure of the background of Metabo HPT, from what I could find Metabo is a German company recently acquired by Hitachi Power Tools (HPT). So far best bang for my buck power tool company. ## Features - INCLUDES: NP50A Pin Nailer, Safety Gl, No Mar Tip -2, Case, Lubricant Oil - TRIGGER: Trigger lock switch protects anst unintentional use - DEPTH ADJUSTMENT: Depth of drive adjustment to countersink or flush drive into a variety of materials - SAFETY: Automatic dry-fire lock-out prevents the nailer from operating with 6 Nails or less in the magazine - MAGAZINE: High grade aluminum magazine provides exceptional durability and protects anst jams.FASTENERS: Drives 23-gauge pin nails ranging from 1/2-in To 2-in In length.AWARD: Rated the Pro Preferred Nailer for 9 years running (2014 - 2022) by Builder and Developer Magazine.APPLICATIONS: For paneling, small molding, and fine trim work.RECOMMENDED: Use Metabo HPT Nails for best results ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07KXM64Q5 | | Brand | Metabo HPT | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 354 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00717709027220 | | Included Components | NP50A Pin Nailer, Safety Glasses, No Mar Tip -2, Case, Lubricant Oil | | Item Type Name | Metabo HPT NP50A 23 Gauge Pro Pin Nailer, 2-Inch | | Item Weight | 3.3 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Koki Holdings America, Ltd | | Model | NP50A | | Number of Items | 1 | | Part Number | NP50AM | | UPC | 717709027220 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Metabo HPT - **Colour:** No Color - **Material:** Alloy Steel - **Number of fasteners:** 100 - **Style:** Pinner Only ## Images ![Metabo HPT Pin Nailer Kit | 23 Gauge | 1/2-Inch To 2-Inch Pin Nails | Built-In Silencer | 5 Year Warranty | NP50A - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61vPjoJI3GL.jpg) ![Metabo HPT Pin Nailer Kit | 23 Gauge | 1/2-Inch To 2-Inch Pin Nails | Built-In Silencer | 5 Year Warranty | NP50A - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71REYRUKVpL.jpg) ![Metabo HPT Pin Nailer Kit | 23 Gauge | 1/2-Inch To 2-Inch Pin Nails | Built-In Silencer | 5 Year Warranty | NP50A - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51O1tP+UvqL.jpg) ![Metabo HPT Pin Nailer Kit | 23 Gauge | 1/2-Inch To 2-Inch Pin Nails | Built-In Silencer | 5 Year Warranty | NP50A - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61X67ubfQ-L.jpg) ![Metabo HPT Pin Nailer Kit | 23 Gauge | 1/2-Inch To 2-Inch Pin Nails | Built-In Silencer | 5 Year Warranty | NP50A - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61lt8cUH89L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Will it do 16 ga &18 ga nails?** A: The Metabo Pin Nailer like all other brands Of pin nailer I am familiar with, shoots ONLY 23 GUAGEK pins. (No heads). You may be confusing it with a finish nailer, most shoot 15 or 16 gauge or with a Brad nailer which usually shoots 18 gauge. I use them all depending on the job at hand. **Q: I want to buy this pin nailer to replace my old one. My older one shoots up to 2 1/2”.. Can this one also?? It looks just like my older one..** A: Up to 2” only. **Q: Does the 5 year warranty need yo be puchased or is it from the manufacturer?** A: It comes with a 5 year Manufacturers warranty. **Q: Will this drive through leather heels on shoes?** A: I think yes. And if you put 2 inch nails, and put shoes on your foot, then the nails will even go into the leg. Joke. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent quality Good safety.
