So I’ve owned this camera now for over 2 years. I use it to provide a constant RTSP stream to a CCTV system (that I built on a Raspberry Pi). For the price, this camera is good value however, I have one major niggle which I haven’t found a solution to. Periodically the camera will just seize up and stop responding over the network. I have to power cycle the camera (i.e. turn off and back on again) to make the camera work again.Does anyone know how to download firmware upgrades for this device? Unfortunately, the update mechanism built into the camera appears to contact servers that don’t exist so it is impossible to do a firmware upgrade without manually downloading the upgrade files and applying them. But where do I download these from? Where is the Revotech support site? Does it actually exist? Any help would be massively apprieciated.

It works.This is an update from last review with added stars. The port you need is 6688 however the camera did not work at first with my Swann CCTV on manual set up sub net 255.255.255.255 as normal. I set the recorder to auto within the ONVIF which is a common interface, a standard for cameras. I still don't know which letter ONVIF profile. Maybe (S) The information shows it can take the 48 volt power over Ethernet. I had to let the recorder find the IP addresses on the auto set up. I would buy another and hope they are cheaper. It's a good wide view like that of a dash cam. Not bad but not great. I have this inside my garage as a covert camera to keep a check on tools etc.

Quite pleased with it for the price. It does what I need it to do. Picture quality at 40-60ft is reasonable. I cannot make out faces, but I can see if someone is up to no good or lurking - probably before they notice this little camera pointing at them. The quality of the video at night is surprisingly good, depending only on street lights. Quite easy to install and setup. I initially tried using it with iSpy open source recording software but the image glitches for some reason. The stream plays flawlessly through VLC. CloudSEE works very well on Android. It would be nice if they came in white as well as black. I would also have appreciated it if a polarising lens attachment was available to reduce reflections when this camera is used behind glass.

Works fine, it’s very small ip camera, good for cctv. Very lightweight. Good picture and video quality, even at night. It may take a while to install but just fallow the instructions and it will work.

We purchased about a half dozen of these cameras. We needed them for a covert application. Once we had the cameras positions and connected to the recorder, we could see that they worked great. Image quality was perfect, and by far better than to be expected based on the price. I would recommend these cameras.

Caméra avec un bon rapport qualité prix. Il s'agit d'un pinhole, donc plus destiné à être dissimulé. Le boitier est peut être un peu grand pour pouvoir l'intégrer dans un objet mais c'est raisonnable selon l'utilisation. L'image est propre, pas EXCEPTIONNELLE, mais tout à fait convenable, d'autant qu'il ne faut pas vouloir regarder à 20 mètres un visage, ce n'est pas une caméra faite pour cela.On note une légère déformation de l'image sur le pourtour, mais rien de catastrophique. Donc, produit qui convient parfaitement pour sécuriser discrètement une porte de cave par exemple.Enfin, la caméra dispose de 2 flux paramétrables si vous voulez faire transiter les données sur votre réseau...

This camera is not compatiable with Lorex NVR. Before purchasing I sent a message to the company to ask if it will work. No reply. So I later ask Amazon customer support and they said it is 100% compatible and even gave directions on how to set up.Months later I’m still stuck with no help or advice from both amazon and the vendor. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS IS NOT COMPATIBLE WORH ANY SYSTEM BESIDE A THIRD PARTY WEBSITE

Please note I did not try the cloud apps because my CCTV system is not connected to the internet. Web interface need to be updated since Microsoft has put Internet Explorer to end of life and Edge doesn't load everything correctly I wasted a day and a half time playing with Wireshark, reading articles, reviews ect to try to get the correct RTSP address to work with my NVR. No luck... Side note since I spent so much time in Wireshark looking at this thing and regardless of the settings I set in the device it keeps trying to find the internet even though I tried to disable all of that in the web GUI, so I've kind of lost trust and will be using it for spare parts.
