Excellent Wet Weather Boot!
I have been using these boots for over three months now, and I am extremely happy with them. When I bought them I had concerns about their weight and stiffness based on other reviews I had read elsewhere, but decided to give them a chance anyway because of the price. It was an excellent decision and money well spent. These boots are comfortable, water-PROOF, tough, and have proven to be the best rubber-style boot I have ever worn for actually hiking and putting lots of miles on them. Despite that I don't need the snake protection, I have been using them during the summer season just north of the Arctic Circle on the south side of the Brooks Range in Alaska and have been averaging several miles a day in tundra, gravel-bars, and varying wetland conditions. I have been very impressed with their comfort, durability, temperature range, and overall performance.I have had a number of other models of both Muck Boots and Xtratufs over the years, and am really happy with these, and will replace them with the same model if they ever need replacing.

Quality
My son loves these snake/water proof boots. Very comfortable and high quality materials. Only con: run a bit small. Size 12 is his size, but needed 12.5. He just took insoles out for better fit. He says they are still comfortable and easy to get on and off. Received quickly from vendor.

Safe and comfortable
I love these boots! They are tall and super comfortable. I’ve been able to do a lot more walking around snake areas and have complete confidence that I won’t have issues and protected from snakes.

Great snake boots.
I estimate brush removal jobs and am walking through thick vegetation on a daily basis. These are the real deal and will make you feel extremely safe while trucking through the woods. The size runs true. No ventilation at all and can get quite got in the summer, but better than being snake bit. I've worn many snake boots and these are by far my favorite.

Muck makes a great boot. But, not sure about this Seller.
Love the boot. Very comfortable fit and very warm in the single digit snowy weather we've been having. I can't wait to try them out this spring in summer once its muggy, hot, and our land is swampy to see how they perform. We live in area that has too many timber rattlesnake, copper head, coral, and water moccasins. So If by chance I find out they are snake proof...or not, I'll update my review. The only con thus far is that the boots arrived "damaged". Not severely, but definitely 1. Didn't look new 2. Severely Misshapen (factory defect? Or storage issue?). 3. The seam in one boot had already splitCalling Amazon and the seller proved ineffective. Thats why 4 stars...which may still be generous.

Very comfortable
I normally wear 8.5 shoe size. No half sizes but the size 8 worked great. Use the sizing table👍

They didn't last five months before starting to fall apart
I LOVED these boots...for almost five months. Then the sole separated from the toe. Then a split developed in a crease on the side.I bought these boots for waterproof snake protection when feeding horses and chickens during rattlesnake season. That is all they were used for. Going from the house to the chicken run to the hay shed to the horse shed to the house. No brush, no rocks, ground pretty clear. They got muddy on occasion, but never scraped. Usually brought in when done with my chores that took about 15 minutes each morning, and 15 minutes each evening. That is all. So no significant use. I did not abuse these boots. These were EXPENSIVE. They should have made it a couple of years before starting to fall apart with the light use I gave them. I have had snake boots that were significantly less money that were worn far more extensively last over three years. And rubber boots that I use to irrigate all day every two weeks in the summer and otherwise sit outside 24/7 that are going on six years. I am terribly disappointed in the quality of the Muck boot, and I'll never buy them again. I'll go back to what has held up for me in the past.
