It’s solid brass, not a coating over steel. Doesn’t flake off or damage the bore. My favorite brand.

A jag is superior to an eyelet when cleaning your firearm barrel. Since the jag is completely wrapped in the patch there is no chance of metal on metal contact. The jag also pushes more surface area of the patch against the barrel than an eyelet. This jag in particular has a nice long design so you will utilize the most amount of patch possible. As a result, you can clean you firearm barrel faster with fewer patches.

.20 cal is .177

Be warned that this requires a fairly thin patch. I have some Plenty O' Patches for .22 and it is too thick to use with this jag. Of course, Tipton sells some patches that will work with this.

it's pretty tight in my 270 so you can't use large patches but thin or small patches work well
