Belongs in a different genre than Britt Nicole's other albums
It's nice to have another album from Britt Nicole after several years of waiting. The album contains secular material instead of Christian music, so some fans might be disappointed - I would not put this in the CCM genre. That being said, the songs have clean lyrics and most of them are good. I think that many young people would enjoy this album because it sounds fairly similar to Gold (which had its title track cross over to mainstream radio) and to the many secular pop songs that they're exposed to.

Sunshine in my ears, was hoping for more faith, thought
This album is like sunshine. Not to rain on the parade, but I Was hoping for more tracks about her faith 😕 Very fun songs nonetheless!Through Your Eyes, Be The Change and After You are my favorite tracks, the style of Heart of stone is really different but I think it will grow on me!!I really do enjoy the album, I get a little sad when a Christian artist I've grown to love releases an album with less songs about Christ and more songs about relationships, I know it isn't always a bad sigh, but in a way I worry that we might have lost another strong voice for the truth. I'm reflecting on your last album "Gold" with easily over half of the songs dealt directly with a relationship with Christ. And this offering has about 5 that could be about faith / our Creator. When it all comes down I think her main message is very hopeful, and if any listener wonders where she finds that hope she sings of, I doubt it would be hard to see that she finds it through His eyes, "because she's not after the world, she's after Him". And she tell them "it will get better".Praying this album will encourage and be a positive influence on the lost, and hope they get found. OK, done referencing her songs.

Great message, great music
I bought this CD for my girls for Christmas. My middle girl especially, age 7, loves Taylor Swift, and while Taylor Swift is better than a lot of mainstream artists out there, I struggle with the constant negative message about men and relationships. The music and style is fun so I wanted to try to find a more positive, Christian alternative. I feel like this really is it. I'd much rather hear my daughter sing about "I saw me thru your eyes" than a line from Bad Blood. Britt Nicole is consistent with this album focusing on positive self-image and seeing yourself how God sees you, knowing how sometimes the crappy parts of growing up won't always be that way, and how a real healthy relationship should be. Yes, she's not blatant about saying "God" or "Jesus" name in every song like some commenters said but she still talks about him in her songs very specifically. For me, I'm not worried about that because my kids hear about Jesus name in worship music and this has a very relatable positive platform in the way Britt Nicole is doing it. Sometimes adding a little ambiguity or mystery makes you WANT to seek further when you're young. All in all, nothing negative about it. I love it and so do my girls.

Best CD yet!
Great CD! As previously mentioned, not all songs are blatantly Christian themed. Some of them are songs she sings about her husband and children, which she obviously treasures. I'm fine with some songs being about her family because it shows that songs can show love without being vulgar and suggestive. Promotes positive self image as seen through the eyes of our Heavenly Father. Some of the songs have an 80's feel, which is a total bonus!

Heartfelt, Upbeat, and Personal
Britt Nicole has released her most personal album yet. With her self titled "Britt Nicole" album, Britt Nicole talks about her faith, her husband, her kids, her friends, and more! From upbeat songs like "Pave", "Girl's Night Out", and "Electric Love" to faith-filled anthems like "Through Your Eyes" and "After You" to heartfelt songs like "All Day" and "Heart of Stone", fans of Britt Nicole get an up close and very personal look at what Britt Nicole has experienced in the past few years. You will not regret buying this album!

It's completely different from what I have come to expect ...
It's completely different from what I have come to expect from Britt. Whether she had different goals for this project might explain it, but it lacks the fire for God her previous ones have had.

After 4 years...still awesome!!
I am a long time fan of Britt's music. This album has arguably the largest set of musical diversity, making this album one of her best to listen through all the way, you almost forget that you are still listening to the same artist. Kudos that effort. If you are looking for a Christian music album that focuses exclusively on spirit-led tracks, there are a couple, "Through Your Eyes" and "After You", but the album is not dominated by that style of music. That being said, I am really glad that Britt has explored songs with a good funk, almost electronic dance music (EDM) sound. There needs to be good music (music that doesn't reference all of the party hard, sexually explicit content that is prevalent in that sound genre) that is just good to listen to. Britt doesn't that really well, the music simply highlights clean living, though it doesn't call out God or Jesus directly, the apparent lack of questionable content gives a broad audience good alternatives to P!NK, Katie Perry, ChainSmokers, 5th Harmony, and others in that genre.Overall, excellent album. "Britt: Don't wait another 4 years to release an album!"

Surprisingly good
She has a beautiful voice and the music is nice If a bit predictable. Still has a bit of the typical christian rock sound which i find a bit off putting. I like non traditional sound but still i like this

Can stop singing the tunes!!
The best album so far from this very talented lady. Love it, love it, love it! My 10yr old son and i agree that this is much better than her Gold album which we both loved. Totally love the 80s vibe on it, gives it a very cool, fresh contemporary edge. My favourite album of the moment! Well done Britt!

Eccezionale Britt. Ottimo.
