Nice jugs
Nice stack and rubber on the bottom of the jugs makes for good stability on worktop. Recommended.

Easy to clean, easy to read, made from inappropriate material
The last jug-set I bought years ago was made of 'the right stuff'. It was durable, tough, and easy(ish!) to clean, but the markings on the jug made it almost impossible to read. Needed a new one.I found this set, which looked good, with marketing exposing the virtues of dishwasher safe for easy cleanup, measurement markings in cups, fluid ounces and millilitres, built-in spouts and non-slip handles on the largest two jugs, for comfortable, mess-free pouring. The jugs are good looking, and are very easy to read. Marvelous.Excepting that the materials used are not fit for purpose.I've not dropped them, and my partner claims not to have done so either, however, the big crack in the bottom of the pot appeared very quickly. It's possible that it was, in fact, dropped so I didn't make too much of a fuss about it, though I would have thought that it would be a tad more robust.Going forward, however, It's offered less than two months service and the big pot (the others have not been used yet) is clearly disintegrating, with the damage being more obvious every time it is used. The big crack in the base has enlarged and stress fractures are now in evidence, not just in the base, but all over the bowl. These fractures are increasing in size and quantity after every use.I can only assume that, contrary to the marketing, that these are not dishwasher proof as advertised, and the dish-washer process/temperatures used are stressing in the bowl. They don't actually leak yet, which is a bit of a miracle given the state that they are in, but I've no confidence that, at some point, they won't simply fall to pieces, with Murphies law dictating that the bowl will be full of gooey liquids at the point of failure causing maximum mess.In summary, where the bowls will likely be OK for hand-wash, and only for mixing 'cool' items, the plastics used are clearly no good at handling hot without the integrity of the materials being compromised. I've not tried 'cold' liquids in these bowls, so I've no idea how they would handle ice-water, for example, but clearly they don't survive dishwasher temperatures.Going for the refund. Don't trust that a replacement item would fair any better.

Good jugs... not glass
I ordered these jugs which were really good quality but I had to return them as I thought they were glass when I ordered them. If you're looking g for plastic jugs then theses would be great.

Disappointed with quality for a KitchenAid product
I should probably have read the description better as I was disappointed to find these with plastic and not glass. They have crackled quite a lot after just a few uses of measuring hot water in them. I have not put them in the dishwasher and I think they would be even worse if I had. On the plus side the markings are nice and clear and they nest well together to take up less space in my cupboard.

Excellent jugs but not suitable for boiling water. Probably my fault
Excellent jugs but not suitable for boiling water. Probably my faultSuperb metric measuring jugs which is exactly what I wanted. They fit and store nicely. I only got four stars cuz it doesn't take boiling water. That's probably my fault. Probably should be five star, but if anyone could do these three in Pyrex I would absolute best seller on our hands

Stackable
I’ve been needing jugs for a long time! These are great at their job and space saving too.

Waste of money!
I bought these in February and already they are leaking. They are supposed to be dishwasher safe. THEY ARE NOT! Nor are they microwave safe. They have cracked and crazed and are no longer useable. I was delighted with them at first as they are very lightweight, easy to handle and stackable. I’m surprised that a quality manufacturer like Kitchen Aid have put their name to these flimsy receptacles. I’m also disappointed as I have a number of expensive Kitchen Aid items (stand mixer and associated extra fittings, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and small food processor) which I love and use constantly. They have lasted well and still look and work perfectly. I trust the brand. The difference in quality between these items and the measuring jugs is enormous. I’m really quite surprised - and grumpy about it.
