This brace makes it easier to walk and is working out very well.

Updated 12/2025-I have used the braces for 5 months and they are still going strong, so I changed my rating from 3 to a 5. I have learned that if you hold on to the bungee just below the hook when you tension it, the hook/bungee attachment works well and doesn't fail.I like the hook arrangement better than the Velcro shoelace strap of my previous foot lifter, so I gave it 3 stars. However the attachment of the elastic cord to the hook is insufficient. Both ends of one foot had the elastic outer cover pull out of the plastic hook within 3 days. The interior non-elastic cord is still attached, so the lifters still work, but I wonder how long it will be till it breaks. Also, It is difficult to remove the Velcro ankle straps, as there is no unattached tab to grab onto. So great concept, but could use improvement in design/materials.

I have purchased a few different types of foot drop braces. They all have some benefit, but none have been completely satisfactory. When I first tried this one, it definitely helped with my left-foot drop, but as many have pointed out, the laces on my tennis shoe would always stretch and benefit would be reduced.However, after thinking about this for a while, I decided to try something new. I took some short cable ties and passed them through the 2 sets of eyelets closest to the toe of the shoe, side to side. I tightened them until each formed a small loop, and cut off the excess, leaving just the loop. This does not stretch! It works very well for me. If you have a problem with the laces stretching, this might be a very simple solution. Good luck.

I'm late in sending my review. Unfortunately, the bunjee cord was defective and broke after wearing it the second time. But the first day I was very impressed. It successfully raised my toes enough that I didn't trip or have limp toes. The bunjee cord just didn't last. It broke after wearing it the 2nd day.I'm sending it back for a refund. I ordered another similar one but more sturdy. I hope it lasts at least a few months.

Struggling with foot drop can be so frustrating. This brace really helps by keeping my toes up and not stubbing them. Helps me not trip. Easy to put on and can move further down laces of tennis shoes for more tension if needed. My favorite brace so far of the ones I’ve tried.

Good design, good support easy to hook but the velcro wears out in about 2 months so for something that you have to replace every 2 months it is too expensive. Also recentlyI got two defective braces twice in a row sent to me

Functionality:This brace significantly improved my foot drop and allowed me to walk confidently without a cane. So grateful that my Physical Therapist recommended it! I can wear cute sneakers and regular clothes without worrying about a cane or orthotic. It is an amazing assistive walking device!

I really like that the BUNGEE cords only hook in front of the brace. Other braces ware the bungee or strap went behind the foot on the Achilles Tendon was painful. As with all braces that have hooks or straps that go around the shoe laces. They pull and stretch the laces and you lose all your lift.SOLUTION; Go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy a plastic wire tie. Weave them through the lower lace holes on your shoes. Make a loop from the plastic tie and put your hooks in to it. If you want a smooth surface. Feed a small plastic tube over the wire tie before hooking it together. I have been doing this with different braces for 20 years.VELCRO.; after using it for a month, the Velcro works fine. My foot is lifted fine.******Only problem is lint gets caught in the VELCRO and the bungees do not work as well.Every year or so I buy a new brace. They are not expensive. Worth every Doller.
